hi
i have played not so many games but now am a bit bored with playing because i can't find any game that really puts me in the mood.
i played and finished
1)prince of persia warrior within/the two thrones
2)devil may cry 3.so i guess i had enough of those types
3)need for speed underground 2/ most wanted.don't want to race no more!! i also played midnight club 2(it sucks)
4)smackdown vs raw 2005/2006. 2006 is awsome but had enough
5)pro evalution 04/05 and fifa 06/05. enjoyed pro evalution
6)tried kill switch. but didn't get along very well. shotting games are kindahard for me and too complicated.
7)street fighter/tekken 4/5 and many other fighting games. liked them but didn't last long
8)godfather/hitman tried them and didn't get much fun
so folks is there something am missing. i mean are there any games out there that i didn't heard of.
feel free to state you favorite games.ever1 welcomed

have u played god of war thats just awsome and the grand theft auto games, an if ya like drivin games there is tourist trophy the gran turismo's and toca 3 there all good

Gaming isn't for everyone, if you feel like you are getting bored with PS2, then maybe you should try something else :)

i didn't ask if it was meant for me or not. i just asked for some good games.. and i surely don't need to change console..
@ shauntay, thanx for answering. i have seen god of war. it's a bit like prince of persia.or devil may cry. i want to try something new

Ok, your topic is "is ps2 boring??", so I answered that by saying that PS2 isn't for everyone, if you are finding it bored then it's probably just not your thing, what's wrong with that answer?

Try the Onimusha series dude (one of my personal favorites) it's a bit like Resident Evil, but in feudal Japan (and Paris in the third :)) and with some awesome swordplay. Ico is a rare puzzle/adventure game with beautiful graphics, it's one of those gems nobody seems to have heard of. If you're into RPG's i recommend Star Ocean : Till the end of Time, Grandia 2 and Final Fantasy X. The Metal Gear Solid Series is a must and you should find a nice cheap pre-owned copy around ;) . Alot of people harp on about the Splinter Cell series as well if you're into stealth. You haven't mentioned Tony Hawks, so if you haven't got one of those, grab one just because it's a great multiplayer game to have on hand and a solis single player experience. There is so much more out there dude, just go for it lol...

well, to be honest the "shooter" games are really some of the very best. I would say about 75% of the games that come out on consoles these days are fps games.
They had some great one's like
Killzone, Psi-Ops, Medal Of Homor series, Splinter Cell series,
Timesplitters Series, Brothers In Arms Series, Call Of Duty series,
Black, Half-Life, and tons of others.
If you want good games you will have to learn to play those.
if your into racing games
Toca Race Car Driver 3, Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, Driver 3 & 4,
Gran Tourismo A-spec & 4, Juiced was ok, Street Racing Syndicate was ok, Tokyo Extreme Racer was alright.
The Myst series is good if you like those D&D sort of games.
Mafia was a good game. Hotshots Golf Four was real fun,
The Grand Theft Autoi series is about as good as a PS2 game gets.
Stolen was good, Tourist Trophy was a geat Motorcycling game.
Destroy All Humans was good and quite funny.
Star Wars Battlefront 1&2 were pretty good
there are just hundreds of great games out there. So i agree with the above. If you can no longer find anything that suits your taste then it may just be time for you to hang up your controller and take up bingo.

Did they do Cold Fear and Project Zero on the ps2.. Or the Jak and Daxter series are really good. Different and a bit crazy.. I-Ninja, but again I don't know if it's xbox only..don't think so
As usual Steimy comes up with the ultimate wish list. I can't really follow that.. lol

Yeah i have Cold Fear for PS2. Have not played it but i have it.
In fact i have way too many that i have and have never played. Or played once or twice then set aside.
Like an addict, any time one comes out that i think i want, i get it. Not counting the fact that i don't NEED it.
I just have to have it anyway.
Working on Liberty City Stories right now, now that i will finish.

i played killzone and boy. it was the worst. first it's hard to play second. its confusing you just go around the same place over and over.
p.s. now i asked for answers like steimy's and not some threatening.nor did i ask to be told that iwasn't mean to play.arghhhhhhhh.

Now axmad. I think you have had some good responses to what is after all an open question. What's the big issue?..and please stop calling people gay..it isn't big and people don't like it.

was my list above not enough to get you started?
no offense ment but i listed 27 games. Not to mention that some say series which means that there are several titles within that.
what kind of games DO you like? that would really help. Since i have quite a few, to say the least. I would be glad to write up a few short reveiws for you. But not on every game i can think of.
