How to Downgrade your PSP 2.50 (and maybe 2.60) to 1.5

I finally got the d#mn thing to work. I did have the files in the wrong place. I formated the stick, re-installed Eloader and finally got a autoloader version of the downgrader that put the correct files in to place. Worked like a charm. I have 1.5 now. Thanks for all your help. I highly recommend for people that are having problems like mine to use a Autoloader of the Final version of the Downgrader to put the files in there respective places.

i heard that the downdater has a 50% chance of bricking ur psp and if this isnt true wat r the odds of bricking ur psp.... i dont really no if i shud try this

Has anyone with a TA-082 board tried the downdater? I see the disclaimer says it *may* brick your psp. Unfortunately this is what I have. If no one has, I will try tomorrow since I bought the 2 year service no hassle replacement warranty.

Yea, TA-082s brick.
The odds are 99% that it will work. It's highly doubtful that it'll brick your PSP.
You only live once and I'm gonna drink and smoke it away.

Wrong...the succes rate is 93% as opposing to 7% who bricked their psp's (probably because they made a mistake such as turning of the power etc)
so ppl who want to do this, do not worry...as long as you do exactly what I say in my tutorial...YOU WILL be fine...
And ya, TA-082's do brick...
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Well I just guessed because it's pretty much a given that your PSP will downgrade fine, but if you wanna correct me and put up correct numbers, then by all means. I wasn't trying to be precise.

Just wondering if someone could email me or msn me the firmware dump. I dont know anyone with a psp running 1.5 firmware. Also I have an Aus PSP do I need the firmware dump from an AUS PSP?
