Yeah, somthing I allways do is race on hard tyres on the long races, Once you learn to corner with hard tyres you have an advantage, somtimes you can get away without pitting in.
I dont know how anyone could diss this game when they havent really played it properly.

Lol, I find I do similar number of laps with hard and soft tyres, advantage with soft tyres is that you do faster laps at the sacrifice of having to pit a lap earlier than you would with hard tyres. It all comes down to the way you drive at the end of the day, but I find I usually end up with medium tyres :)

Stress relief lol.

there's no change except that you'll accelerate faster and you can hear the nitrous

axmad, my friend has a real life NOS powered car and not once has my eye sight gone all blurry like on fast and the furious or NFS. You watch way to much tv bro. GT4 even states on the cover that it is "the real driving simulator"

lol, I think if you use the nitrous on yourself instead of the car you might get that eye-blurring effect :)

then if that's the case. i think it's working cause when i pushed R1 it speeds up faster.
anyway since i made this thread i have the right to change topics right??
am looking for war games. a game where you can use aeroplanes, tanks, and everything else. a game which has good graphics. i have seen some game adverts and i feel in love with a war game i saw. i don't want shooting games.please please make good suggestions.
secondly. i was interested in modchips. my ps2 scratches every thing that it plays. now i heard that modchips save the leasers alot of tears. however i want to buy the modchip and install it myself i wouldn't like sending my ps2 away. would anyone please tell me where i can get it(Uk) i think installing isn't a great deal

No modchip doesn't save your laser, laser fix does. Not sure where you would get it in UK, again wait for someone like ace1uk or hursty who's from UK to answer that question for you... but if you are after a modchip, get Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro :)

nah i haven't tried ice combat. however i have seen socom series and they don't seem like what i have been looking for. i already have an exact game. killswitch.
now you all say that matrix infinity is the best modchip around for slim ps2.it's about £27.i will buy that and i hope someone will assist me in installing it. do you think it's a piece of cake or even a bit challenging but not hard?
but a friend of mine says that modchips have bad affects.like all of a sudden the ps2 starts to have glitchs and freezes. is that true??
ace combact. are way confusing. i mean you wont know if your fly a plane or a ship

so basically the modchip doesn't do anything bad to the ps2.
does it do anything good rather than just playing import games??

you shouldn't need a step by step guide for modchips, it's just soldering wires onto the board... you can find installation guides in all good modchips' websites

Or you can get a professional to install it. Or buy a pre-moded one. Or bring a ps2 to a store so they can install it and buy the modchip of them.

I agree, it's not worth risking your PS2 installing it yourself unless you are confident with soldering. Paying someone to install it is a lot cheaper than having to replace a PS2

Yep thats for sure its a lot harder to install a modchip on a ps1 then ps2. Plus som stores dont garentte you're ps2 so if they break it when they are trying to install it they'll just hand it back and say to bad. So make sure they garente it first.
