Asking for help - yes, posting meaningless posts - no. if you had a look at the other thread which was closed, there was a LOT of meaningless stuff in there. I'm not saying that there weren't any useful information, but the amount of rubbish in there was unfortunately quite significant :(

er... yeah, I think it was slightly more than 2 :) But anyway, no point talking about that, I'm not going to go off the topic and talk about why the other thread was closed, all that's gonna do is get this thread closed too.

actually no, he asked if there's an easy way to get the licences, i.e. if there's a glitch or something in the game (since he doesn't want to use AR Max) which would allow him to get the licences without too much trouble, and I told him there isn't, which answered the question

okay
i have another problem. and believe me i really appreciate all your help. cause this one seems a tough one
anyway, i went to a site and followed a WALKTHROUGH and unfortunelty i was stuck at some place. http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/gran_turismo_4_d.txt when i finished japan suziki k-cup. i should have seen '98 Honda CIVIC Type R (EK) for about 10,000 but i dont see it instead i see '97 for 12,000. i have done what the faq said but however i can't see the car in used cars section.is it a problem with my game or the guys just made a mistake???
sorry if the link doesn't work!!

or the guide wasnt right , when i did one of the last rcaes in the game the f1 championship i was meant to get an f1 car but instead i got a mercedes-benz sauber c9, those guides arent always 100% correct, i wouldnt recommend getting the civic not a very fastcar even when its done up, try going for an evo 6

Just one thing that came into mind - I think the NTSC and PAL version are slightly different, I'm not sure which one you have but it could be that the guide is for one version and the game is another?

anyway something very starnge popped up. when i install nos. and i go to race with it. it wont work why wouldn't it work. i clearly paid for it and it seems to be installed on the car. but however it wont work.is there a reason.
another question . what percentage have your done. as in how far are in the game( am talking to every one).

You have to press a button to use nitrous (can't remember which one it was - one of the shoulder buttons), and there are races that you can't use nitrous
I've done about 90% in the game but haven't touched it for a while now, been too busy for PS2...

lol. it's obvious that you have to press a button. wat am saying is that even when i press the button it wont work. 90%???? you should be a master in it then.doesn't it get more fun with faster cars??
anyway there is something i like about this game. no matter how hard races are(not license)you can find an easy way for it. like sometime ago i was strangling with some races.i went and bought a faster car and tuned it. every race seems competitive. that's just great.

You sure it's not that the nitrous is working but you ran out after a while? There's a white gauge which indicates how much you have left.

The races become more challenging as the cars get faster, because it's harder to control, but that's the fun part about it

Yeah you can do that for most of the races but you get to a point where everyones' cars are equally good, then it comes down to how good your skill is, but early in the game you can just get a really good car and beat everyone else (assuming that the car is legal for the particular race)

I made a ton of money on this game by doing the european "Doutche touring car maischaft" champianship over and over with the Audi TTR touring car set to B spec, Each time you win a Mercedes worth over 700,000 dollars, Doesnt take long to build up a few million, Then you can buy some serious cars.

Absolutly, but for the sake of making some coin by doing something over and over, B spec is good.
Also good when your skills arent up to scratch lol.
