but i dont know anyone with a faulty console. none. the worst my old one did before i broke it is occationally not read greatest hits games.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yeh but u cant keep using urself as a measuring stick. just because YOU dont know anybody doesnt mean squat. there is another guy in the ps3 forums saying hes went through 5 p2's,ive went through 3 and the lawsuit was filed and they lost so come why does it matter who u know? im not trying to argue but this is why i seem to disagree with you because u are relentless in not admittting any sony faults.the xbox 360 hit close to home for u and u wont buy one because of it and the ps2 hit close to home with me hence i wont buy a ps3 it makes sense.Of course they arent exactly equal to think so is irrational.

it matters who i know because there is nothing else to go by. we are what we've lived thru, and i've never seen a faulty ps2. im not say they arnt out there, but im saying the number has got to be pretty low.

the number isn't lower, it's more then likely equal or higher, and because the internet has grown in popularity since the ps2's release then everyone thinks the numbers have gone up, since everyone w/ a 360 now has an easy way to vent about it, hell my ps2 failed, and i didn't buy that till Dec. 2001 and then it died shortly after faulty laser, but it was right outside the warrenty period so sony wouldn't do to accomodate me, i ended up just buying a new one after i sold the old one. but like he said, u can't use yourself as a measuring stick, or even posts on forums as a measuring stick, read the articles on news sites about the % of faulty 360s to the % of non-faulty 360s. it's like 4% which is under the 7%/8% faulty acceptance rate for other consumer electronics companies.

i wonder how he got banned again. i'll probably find out soon.
to you, the guy up there. those bigger numbers are the failed ones, not the failed in public. and im sure someone here said they got their ps2 repaired for free outside warrenty.

iv had so much trobel with my xbox 360.
my first xbox 360 - scratched game discs for no reason (even if you kept it still)
my second xbox 360- plays games fine keeps on crashing for no reason :(
and soon to be my third 360...
im thinking about yet again gettign a replacment xbox 360 since my xbox dashboard likes to randomly crash through games :P
and iv had my headset replaces 4 times now because after a while the wires become loose because microsoft thorght 'hey i know we can save money by nearly not soldering wires together :P'
