Ok so I read on your tut and also all the other (sticky) and they have some about the mds file are you soppose to burn that or you burn the iso. Example game is ripped and you have two files , iso and mds now you burn you select file mds and then burn or only iso. . I read and read the tut over and over it seems so easy but at the samartime I know I'm doing some thing wrong.

You select the mds file. The mds file contains info about the iso file, which tells your burning software how to handle it. The iso file is what actually gets burned to disc, but you select the mds file to load into DVD Decrypter, that way your software knows to burn the iso. That's really all there is to it, don't over complicate it. Are you getting errors or something? If so, post what error messages you're getting.

I would actually burn the iso and not load the mds. I did that and found out it was just a tad to big for the 4.7 gb disk so I'll rebuild and then load the mds file when am ready to burn, right? No I don't get any error at all when neing burned. Thanks for the knowledge and being paticent.

I think you're looking at the exact amount in bytes, that's not the actual size of the game. For instance if the game says 4,700,432,364 bytes, that's not 4.7GB's. Thet's around 4.38GB's. There's 1024 bytes in a kb, in terms of actual disc space, that would account for the difference. Click on the iso file in Windows and go to properties. That'll tell you the actual size. FNR3 is DVD-5.

I don't know what the prob is so I'll just keep working at it, but I think its that whole booktyping thing because when I put DVDR in just has is at the type of DVDR it is no dvdrom, so is there anyway of changing the settings on all three burning software to the correct booktype , dvd decrpt, Nero, alcohol120. Thnaks

Reread my tutorial man, you're missing something. Book typing isn't hard. You can only book type DVD+R's, not DVD-R's. My ImgBurn/DVD Decrypter tutorial prefaces some basic burning principles which will help you out. 8x Verb DVD+R's should work fine.

If it's a bit skippy, try burning a little faster. Constant disc access games need to be burned faster. If the games is burned too slow, the data can have trouble keeping up. Honestly, I always burn at 8x on 8x discs, though that's only recommended if you use quality media, should be fine with the Verb's.

Yeah I'll try that to burning it a the speed type of the disc for example when reff is counting after knockout it is just abit of sync, but the soultion to the problem of playing when I rebuilt it I was missing a file and I had try burning just after ripping it and ps2 would say not a valid ps2 game so that's why I rebuilt it. So now it all about burning them at the right speed, went through about 10 disc of different types haha so I'll let you know how it goes from here on out thanks lots for the help.
