I don't know alot about SED but does it doesn't burn in does it? I herd it was going to be similar to CRT in a flat pannel design.

Np here a picture of SED

The Canon ? Toshiba SED display had the best color
and black levels of any flat panel technology seen at CES 2005
I can't belive it eats less energy than my LCD.

Nothing about current flat pannel TVs really bothers me right now, mostly because I've never really had a problem with burn in and I'll probablly only keep my plasma TV for about 4 years before getting a new TV. Of course if you have LCD you don't have to worry about any of that anyway. But the one thing that I can't stand about LCDs and plasmas right now is the blacks and darker colors in picture. That is probablly the main reason why I want SED TV. I didn't think when I got my TV it would bother me that much but on my TV especially on SD its terrible, however I will say on HD its not quite as bad. I doubt I will be able to afford SED TV for a while though.
