no it wont if u replace the modchip with a new 1.5 one then u can have 1.5

I heard there was a possible exploit found in 2.8 and there working on it soo all it will take is time and if it does come out itt will be on every site so hang in there!

Everything will be deleted and all the folders on ur MS will be recreated, settings only go if u restore factory settings or something like that...There is No exploit for FW 2.8 users only for the TA-082 2. factory PSP's
