hello sovmish
apperantly the sony you picked up were the MIT and you have no problem with it so far right?? did you not find any MIJapans or did you not care at all. i planned on going to my od to get some of those sony media. I just want to know the chance of finding the MIJ.
The Verb should be way better then the MIT sony but not as good as the MIJ ones becasue they are Taiyo Yudens which is suppose to be the best media period.

um... well there were like 10 packs of them. I looked through each one, and they're all the same... no octagonal spacer or whatever.

SovMish- IF the Sony 's are MiJ 's then they are as good or better than The Verbatims As the Mij Sony's code out as Taiyo Yuden Made disc ! and Most memebers either consider Taiyo yuden best with verbatim being right behind or even equal too the taiyo yudens! having used both I would say it really depends on which your burner does best with ( That's a cop out I know !) but true ! If they both do equally well then buy which ever you prefer or get whichever is the best deal price wise! and on the Nexxtech Front three failures out of thirteen ( WOW!!!) Not bad that's like only having three cavities at a dentist visit ! I'm Not Knocking you SovMish Just trying to save you some pain in the long run ! You might want to transfer the burns you made on NeXXTEcT onto something like verbatim or Taiyo - just for safety purposes if nothing else ! Like mechanics say " You can pay me now or you will Pay me later " Consider it preventative mainrenance ! Ciao!
