Not sure how there could be any difference between 10 pack and a 20 pack?!?? but maybe I could be wrong...but doesnt sound right if its the same exact disc. I dont believe they make 2 different model DL just to put into the different spindels...that sounds a bit strange. But ya never know...could be?

what speed do you normally burn at? i keep it down at 2.5x just to be safe...

i have a 16x Sony DL burner...and have had m-a-n-y problems burning dvd-5's at 16x speed ON SONY DVD+R''s!!! so slowing it down could help.
