Creaky knows about this stuff hes a pro when it comes to media...

I would stick with Verbatim or Taiyo yuden
i really dont know what happened to pioneer and why they stopped making it...but yea if u have bad media disk u may wanna burn at the slowest speed possiable x4 or x6 as for memorex fading i never experienced that before

yea stick to the better media brands memorex isnt that great they use cheap dye like a lot of other companies...if you wanna know the best speed to burn for a certain type of disc....you can run the Nero cd/dvd tool and it will show you the best burning speed for the disc....
