I actually have the actually MAX EVO CD if you are talking about burned MAX EVO CD-R's. If you mean MAX EVO won't update on the slimline then how do I update it. I tried the manual way by downloading the list onto my evodrive, deleting any settings and then uncrushing it to my memcard it still froze. Any idea on how to get my codelist to upload in my slimline PSTwo?

well guys , i have the slimline ps2 ..and my disc isnt the evo ..but i could figure out what was wrong , and now each time i load the disc i find the new codelist that i transfered from the USB to the memory ..thanks alot guys for each reply... but i have another question , i play fifa 07 and i have some goal replys that i wanna put on pc and upload them on www.youtube.com ..but the problem that when i bring those replys to the pc i find their extension being .MAX and there is no program that will run them ..does any one know how can i make it work?

MAX EVO only seems to load the default codelist, the one that came with the disc. The disc shouldn't freeze when I try to load a codelist from my memcard or the EVOdrive. If anybody has found the solution to my problem please post it. I am just so frustrated that I can't use codes in the majority of my PS2 games.Originally posted by moursy24:

What format are the oringinal replays in fifa 07 in? Anyway, have you tried using a file extension renamer?

i found the soulation , and to help you thats what i did ..but first of all i have slimline too ..now let me tell you what i did , i downloaded the codelist which is .MAX not .bin ..its in the support section of www.codejunkies.com and then got it in my maxdrive ..now i turned on my pc2 with the (cheat disc ) in the ps2 ( the big disc not the small ones .. now when it load i go to my devics and u go to ur USB and i choose UNCRUSH to memory card ( dont copy the file to ur memory ) just uncrush it to the memory ..after thats done restart ur ps2 and the new codelist will load and always work fine .
thats what i did exactly and it wroks very well and i dont have any trouble .
try that exactly with the same steps and let me know if it gonna work .

I went to the support section of codejunkies and I don't see an option to download the codelist. Are you sure you didn't download the codelist with the MAXDrive software?

Did you try that? Anyway forget the file extension renamer and rename them manually because you could probably finish doing that versus the time it will take you to find a renamer and then rename them.

It worked thanks. But the codelist is outdated so I'll have to manually enter codes. Could I still update the list using online update? I still haven't used the list with a game yet, I'll do it when I get back from school.

i got aprogram that changes the extension but it still wont work , i dont know why is that .i wish i can get some help on that .
- and for the other guy , im glad the codelist worked for u , so i was right then .lol ..but about ur question of the online update im sorry i cant help u at that point cuz i dont have internet at home

Arrrrrrrrgh! I booted up my AR MAX Cd and then tried to go into Expert MOde but the CD froze! so then I tried resetting it and switching the AR MAX disc with a game but now the codelisat won't load again! Do I need to use the same method or does somebody know how to fix it?
And for moursy, try using a code converter. I am thinking it will work better.

I did do that the last time but I just noticed something. The list you are telling me about is from the Europe region. I live in the USA so wouldn't that cause problems since Europe is PAL and North America is NTSC?

i searched it for you but i couldnt find it in the US section ..tell me if u can help me with something , i got saved goal replay from fifa 07 and i wanna make them work on the pc but the extension is .MAX and no program is making it work , can u tell me how to make it work ?

I don't think you can do that. If changing the file extensions does not work and MAX Media Creator can't deal with them, then I am afraid you are lost.
