AR MAX..please help

guys ,i have AR MAX and the steps below is what i do when i download the new code list , please help me
1- i downloaded the code list to the pc
2- moved the code list from the pc to the usb
3- i put the disc of max drive to ps2 and opened my devices
4 - moved the code list from the USB to the memory
5- turned off the ps2 , and the turned it on again with the AR cheat disc .
6- i found the new code list and i choosed my game and it worked.
7- when i want to play another game i put the cheat disc and i cant find the new code list ..its saved in the memory but it doesnt load when i play it on for 2nd time ...what do i do wrong with that and what should i do?

are you sure its in the memory card, and does the codelist you saved, have the codes for the game you have.
Are you using the right format? I.E PAL/NTSC

well , yes i see the code list in the memory as acorrput data and , and yes the code list is for PAL games and my games are PAL and it works first time u use it after u transfer the codelist from MAX DRIVE to the memory but when i reset the PS2 i find that its all gone and doesnt load wven while the codelist is still saved in the memory ..what should i do or what are the right steps exactly.

You should get the maxdrive software from codejunkies.com
Then when on the program insert your usb mem stick
Then the software will recognise your usb
Then select codelist(it will connect to the datel server and download the lastest codelist) and when promted 'copy to all drives' select ok.
Wait till it finishes, then take out your usb and close the program.
Load action replay, then max memory
Then now select your codelist and your ps2 mem card
Now this is vital. Dont press copy to memory card, select UNCRUSH!
This is because normal ps2 memory cards are not as familliar with action replay codelists, as much as Datels MAX MEMORY.

PS.DELETE AMY OTHER ACTION REPLAY CODELISTS ON YOUR USB BEFORE DOING THIS,THEN THE MAX SOFTWARE CAN SAVE IT TO THE RIGHT DIRECTORY OF YOUR USB

so when i use MAX MEMORY i choose copy and when i use the normal sony ps2 memory card i choose UNCRUSH? ..i really hope that will work and wont mess up again specially after i choose the 2nd game to play it doesnt load.

No, you should uncrush codes with any mem card,

well , i did it last night , i uncrushed the the codlist , but again i choosed my game and played , then when i try the 2nd game it all disappear like i did nothing.

Hi ps2gen
I am also having problems with flash drive.I have tried copying codelist from usb drive to my max 32mb card & when i re-load ar max disc it doesnt have new codes on it,still the old ones.Have also tried uncrushing from usb drive to memory card but when i check memory card it says its a corrupt file,please tell me what i am doing wrong as have done what you told other person to do.

Are you sure its even action replay?
Also you have to click euro site if you have a PAL action replay max, and download codes from there.
If you ave NTSC ( american ) you need to click on usa page.
The euro and usa options are the first thing that come up when you go to www.codejunkies.com
Also, if you look on your actin replay disk, it should have a number( version) ebossed around the hole of the cd. Check that number ( ie 3.32 etc)
If that number is 3.32 or below, thee is a specific codelist for that cd version.

I am using the euro site as in uk.I have checked disc like you said & it has version 3.32 written on disc.Pity i could not call you as would be easier for me to follow lol.

I am on the page you are on about for 3.32,but which 1 of these do i download? I take it that i only download Max Drive one? I use yahoo instnt msngr mostly... cyber77uk is my name on it & is same on msn msngr.Many thanks again mate.

I am able to have a code list on my memcard but whenever MAX EVO loads the codelist form my memcard or the EVO drive, it will load to the full four circles, then it will go back to 2 and then freeze. Does anybody have an idea on what I am doing wrong here?
