Leave it where it is....lol imation sucks

Microsoft: Ps3 cant do 60fps on 1080p. Guess what they were WRONG!!!!!
(11/19/05 - 9/19/06) Microsoft: Sony's 1080p support on PS3 is all Hype and Not Needed.
(9/20/06) Microsoft: Xbox 360 to add 1080p support.

"Ugh, office depot media is crap."

Office depot doesn't make any of their disks, most are made by RITEK/RICOH (which I believe may be the same company)

The OD branded Ricohjpn have consistently rated a 95% on Both my Benq 1640 and 1650. The OD branded Ritek P16 have not fared as well but generally in the low 90s. The OD RWs are made by RITEK and I have had no problem with them as I use them to back up TV movies/Shows, and erase and re-use after burning to permanent DVD.

IMHO,I would not go so far as to call them crap as they have performed decently for me. BUT, I always use TY )YUDENT002 as my "permanent" backups.....

@LABOY

OD media is not crap. Good observation. I use them for my daughter's back ups and I use TY T02s for mine also. OD is decent Ritek or Ricoh.

@limelight

OD sells another brand that almost appears to be thier brand but isn't. Ativa discs. This may have been what you got. Don't know anything about them and never will.

@catfreak

That explains a lot. First time I saw those I thought they were OD's brand until I looked a little closer. The price was right but the media was unknown, so I passed.

I bought 4 x 25 pack OD DVD-/+RW (50 each) for $2.99 each 25 pack with OD coupon. I cant attach the coupon here. Anyone wants those coupons, just email me and I will send the PDF file for you to print out. My local OD in San Francisco has been good to me regarding coupons so far.

By the way: what is the different between the following:

Office Depot DVD-RW: Ritek W04

vs.

Office Depot DVD+RW: Ritek 004

My Understanding On Ricoh & Ritek Is that Although Both Are mainly Oem's Even though they also sell some media under their respective names ! is that Ritek Also Oem's /manufactures Some Media for Ricoh as well! And I believe that I read somewhere maybe here at afterdawn.com that Ricoh DL media will be being made by Ritek? Or something To that affect if I remember correctly ? I would stay away from the ATIVA media atleast the DVDmedia ! CMC ! My local OD stores still carry the name brands & OD branded Media + ATIVA ! But the ativa isn't any cheaper than the OD's are when on sale so I wait for those or a Name Brand Like Verbatims or Sony's to be on sale ! That's my .02cents worth anyways !
