Actually I tried DVD Decrypter once and it wouldn't recognize the ISO. So with my experience you can not use DVD Decrypter to burn the Wii games.

choose burn image in Nero start smart
if the games have a .wii extension you need to unscramble them first

Ok, here is what I get when I download a game.
It downloads, and creates a "Folder" with the name of the game. When I Double click on the folder, it has all these files in it, for example Donkey Kong Jungle Beatpal.part01.rarRareFile
They all say that, going from part01 to part12.
Is that a correct download for a game? and if so, how to I burn it?
This is driving me Nuts!

@richdana

Yes that is usual from a torrent download.

You need to choose part 1 and extract it with WinRAR. WinRAR will then extract the rest of the parts making 1 ISO file for you to burn to DVD.

Example:

WiiGamePart1
WiiGamePart2
WiiGamePart3
WiiGamePart4
etc. etc.

You open up WiiGamePart1 in WinRAR and it will extract the complete ISO file from all the rest automatically.

Sometimes you might get this with a torrent...

WiiGamePart1
WiiGamePart2
WiiGamePart3
WiiGamePart4
WiiGame

In this case you would choose WiiGame to open up with WinRAR and it will then extract the full ISO automatically from all the parts.

Once you get the ISO wii game file extracted burn with Nero by choosing the (BURN IMAGE) option.

Or download IMGBurn (Which is free here http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download) After installing IMGBurn run the program choose MODE then Write. Now load the ISO file up under source and burn.

OK, I have imageburn downloaded, and WinRAR. You have been a HUGE help. I will try the game burning again.
One other thing, I was told I would need a Modchip in order for my wii console to reconize the disc. Is that true?
Also, is it ok to burn the games to Maxell DVD-RW Disc?

Yes you need a Modchip installed to play a backup game.

It is best to use quality media when doing backups. (Verbatim/Tayio Yuden) You can always try the Maxell and see if they work. But when you do find media that works stick with that media.

Googled Modchips, and there are TONS. Even more confusing to me. I have no idea what I need before I spend all that money for a modchip. Also, the game I had that came in part1.rar etc...I downloaded the WinRAR, and it came up invalid or corrupt files.
I am downloading my games from utorrent, and ares ultra...does anyone else use these to get games??

WinRar is also a non free application.
Wish I could get this right BEFORE I fork out all that extra $ that could be useless.
All I want to do is download wii, and gamecube games, and burn them to work in my wii console.

Yep not offended. Wiikey v1.2
Burned a gamecube iso that was downloaded today(and other gamecube iso's) and it worked fine. The media i have used is tdk DVD-R magmedia DVD-R and infomedia DVD-RW. the gamecube worked fine with both magmedia and the DVD-RW. ive been burning the iso's to rw's to test they work first and then to regular dvd's. with cooking mama i have tried all three brands. Ive actually had the best results with the magmedia which is the budget brand from my local supermarket

This is the first wii iso ive tried.

Yeh tried that and im using imgburn. i also tried clonecd and Alcohol 120%. The iso is the right size but it must be a dud copy. i cant think how else to explain it.

Thanks for your help guys. Im just about done downloading another wii game iso, i guess that will show me the answer.

One thing though. Has anyone identified a burner that is no good for burning wii iso's. I know LG must be used to rip but ive been told anything can be used to burn? who knows.....

Edit. blazing angles doesnt work either. im gonna try another burner
