Ok try this. Instead of selecting to use ImgBurn during the backup process with Shrink [step 31] select "ISO image file" and save to your hard drive instead. Lets see if we can at least get your DVD on to your hard drive and go from there. As far as the verify being checked it does nothing more than verify your disk after it is burned, but I don't believe you are getting that far yet.
@j49er99,
No problem let us know if you need anything else.

OK, after trying a few more burns, I have more detailed information. The error message does occur during the verify process. If I uncheck the verify process, it gives the successful burn message. It is burning the movie to disc. I have slowed the burn speed to 3x and 2.4x. Doesn't make a difference. When I watch the movie, it freezes or hiccups every 5 or 10 minutes or so. I get the error message during verify every time. If there's a way to paste a .jpg image here, I can do so. I copied it.
You can use nero if you want to. I don't use it, and prefer imgburn over it. I prefer freeware over payware, especially if the freeware is an excellent program.
Dvd shrink does not burn, it is a rudamentary ripper and transcoder. To burn, you need a program like imgburn or nero, which can be set to autoburn with dvd shrink.

Or learn how to dump a psl file from the disk and then set your ripper up to take notice of it before running the css descrambler. That's basically all these paid updates do.. add new blanks and buv idents to an existing program.
oh.. sorry.. one click wonders here so all that goes woosh over your heads... beam me up scotty.. still haven't got over being named in a court document for dvd ripping.. just as well they never knew my real name XD

Install the version of ImgBurn that starts automatically:
Thanks for the help, the install worked great. now I have another problem. after imgburn burns the dvd it pops up with a window saying that my drive seems to be having trouble initialising the disc that has just burnt. and that until it can, no software will be able to access whats on it. I went by the guide and used dvdfab6, then FixVTS, then Dvd shrink 3.2, and then burned with imgburn, just like it said step by step. the movie is Law Abiding Citizen. any help would be great. thanks
