I converted the icons and put everything in the resource folder, however when I copied them it says the disc is full and I cant copy over all the files as the custom icons files are bigger than the original psp files. Does anyone know what Iam doing wrong?

Ok this is what you need to do, download this:
http://dl.qj.net/Flash-Agent-F2-PSP-Home...12761/catid/151
ok as soon as you download this, open it up and put the file folder "FLASH_AGENT" into the GAME folder of your psp. F:/PSP/GAME-FLASH_AGENT. Ok as soon as you got it in there exit USB Mode and go start Flash Agent up from your psp. Then when you start it's going to sound like your psp is tweaking. When it does that it is going to ask you to agree to the terms, just agree. After that it will go to a menu, at the menu go down to "Recovery menu", Then once you are in there press left 4 times then it should say Replace some uneeded font files (2.5mb space) Press X on until your memory card indicator flashes then press it again and it will show little red words. After that just exit and you are done. Now you can put the icons on.

That means that you pre-bricked, same thing alwayse happens to me. That's why i gave up on that. Make sure they are converted to 3.40 oe or go to 3.03 Oe. Did you make a back-up for the icons and xmb? if not you will have to go back to 1.50 and then upgrade to 3.40 oe again.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/u8bt1t go there and download it. This is about 7 XMB Themes. it has screenshots of the backgrounds in each file and they are formatted for 3.30 OE firmware and up so it wont brick.
Some of them dont have the files for icons and others do so borrow the icons from the other files. if u dont know which file controls what keep on reading:
This is a list of all possible files that can be flashed onto the psp. Each one is installed in this folder:
flash0/vsh/resource EXCEPT for #9.
1). 1-12.bmp - This will customize the "themes" that change monthly.
2). gameboot.pmf - This will change the short clip that is played before loading a UMD or homebrew program.
3). impose_plugin.rco - This will change the volume bar.
4). opening_plugin.rco - This will change the bootsound from when the psp is turned on from a hard reset.
5). system_plugin.rco - This will change menu sounds and "default game icons" in the (game) folder.
6). system_plugin_bg.rco - This will change the xmb wave.
7). system_plugin_fg.rco - This will change the "battery level indicator" and the "UMD loading" icon (bottom right)
8). topmenu_plugin.rco - This will change your icons. *see note
9). ltn0.pgf - This will change the font. **this is installed in flash0/font folder**
*altering a topmenu_plugin.rco file on custom firmware 3.10 oe and higher will not work unless you use a converter FIRST thats why u semi bricked.
