Ok hmmmm.. have you ever saved your game already, and is it still on the memory card. If it is, then delete it or copy the new save to a different card and see if it loads.
While browsing the memory card see if the BASLUS file is named the same or not as yours is the same as the gamesaves from gamefaqs.
Don't really know what else to tell you, it should work.
Also did you use mcpaste when pasting the file from your usb flash to mc card. That is what I always use.

do i have a save game on there already, yes i do...when i copy the save from pc to flash i name it exactly the same as what is on the mem card. i do a copy, then mc paste

Ok, I always leave the game save I downloaded and open in PS2 Savebuilder the same name. I don't change it unless I am changing the region of the save.

thats what i did...idk whats up with it...i can't find the SE of gta sa anywhere...just the regular version of it.
