Dell dimension 4600c, with Pentium 4 processor. I got 2 gigs of DDR ram, so i guess that helps.
Dont use any mods for UT3.
Im guessing your mobo is what is crashing your game

thanks, same here (2gigs) but the dumb mobo is an ECS 915p-a v1.2a
i dont know if you have been lured into this kind of deal by frys before but thats how they get rid of these mobos. They make a "combo" deal and you have to buy the mobo in order to get the cpu at the "amazing" price...

thats my backup machine so i never really played any games on it
My primary rig:
ASUS Striker Extreme
Intel Core 2 Duo e6300 1.86 ghz (overclocked to 3ghz)
4 gigs DDR2 PC6400 800 mz ram
GeForce 8800 GTS SLI
this computer can run any game (crysis, ut3, halo2, etc)
if you want, i can run some more games on the secondary computer?
please specify the game to test and i will post the results

althought it took me 2 years to save up for it, in the end it was worth it...
i will try to run those games, in 4-5 hours i will post results...
do you know of any way to fix the computer up?
i really need some lan gaming...

i figured it out
i upped the cpu voltage to 1.4v from 1.38 default and now ut 3 works!!!
just need to get a better cpu cooler now...

Well I'll be, haha it was the voltage regulators on the motherboard. I'll have to make a note of that one for next time.
