im sorry to waste your time guys but i bought the acer just befor sammorris said "NO" but i got it for £!60 witch was very very cheap and within my buget i just could not get eny more money to pay for the samsung but it should come in the next few days and i will tell u if its eny good or just utter crap

I don't wish to argue, but why did you bother asking here if something was any good if you bought it anyway without waiting an hour for a response? Next day delivery stops well before 10pm, so if you'd waited for a response it would arrived at the same time anyway.

On a more productive note, the acer CD writers I bought seemed high quality at the start, but then both broke and fell to pieces (literally). The only acer monitors I've seen were crap to start with, but that may have changed since spring 2006.

Lol there's no need to apologise, it's your product. 5 bad reviews is pretty bad if they're anything other than minor niggles, unless of course you're looking at newegg, in which case ignore them.
