Bottom line.. what you are looking for are these. These are pretty much the best quality dual layer disc you are going to find. Its the same as the ones in the previous reply, but the cheapest price out there. I researched and researched and researched some more. These are what you want period.

I agree with Kblake, can't find any better than these in the States. But, they have purple/violet bottom color. For the heck of it, post back with a cost per disk for a professional pressed DVD disk when you find out, kinda curious myself.

The pressed replicas are priced depending on how many you order. Some companies will not accept orders less than 1000 pieces:

Cheaper in the long run to buy the DVD-5 disks in quantity.

they have to be out there it don't make sense to have a color scheme
in order for the disc to function properly
In stead of saying: "I want this, I want that..."

How many times do people have to tell you you can't just go out and buy DVD Rs with silver bottoms. They are silver because they are aluminum/silver which is the substrate for pressing not burning.

My +RW's have a dark gray color.

I had to backup a History Channel video that a buddy at work got. He ordered it straight from the History channel website. Low and behold,it was on a -r Verbatim with the purple dye, along with a sticker label.
