I have a ps2 v.9 and swapmagic 3.0. The CD says CD version 3.2 USA Build on it but when I stick it in the ps2 and it loads, it says version 3.0 in the top right. The cd loads just fine but whenever I try to swap in the cdloader v.7 all, it just freezes up. I've also tried to use dvd loader and with that I get to the screen that says put in a dvdr by ea method, i put in the game and it freezes. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or can I just not play games that require cd loader to run? By the way I'm using DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs.

hi, yeah I now have loads of CD-r games and Rips working using swap magic 3.0 and BreakerPRO. No matter what the disc size is.
You only need B.Pro if CD is over 610mb or something.

But I have had loads of Fuck ups. On some discs it burns the image fine. When you explore the CD using PC it shows you the files and looks exact right [like a REAL PS2 GAME]. But the game either fails to boot properly/at all. Or ti runs the frontend screen [& maybe even plays a bit of game]. Then dies in the same place every day.

My idea for a solution. The only thing I can think of is to somehow convert the CD-rs to go onto DVD-r THis should fix the prob I reckon. ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?????????????!!!!!????????????????????

If you do could you email me please? thanx

Hey Dave, not sure if this will work for everyone, but when I use Alcohol 120 to burn my images it sometimes asks if I want to burn to dvd format, you can select yes and as long as you have a blank dvd in your dvd drive it will burn. Also Ihave only burned games using dvd-r I have a v10 us ps2 and cant get anything else towork.
1 last thing where can I get Breaker Pro???

yo capt.
I buy all my stuff from psxservices.com
I always pay the xtra £2 for recorded delivery
It always takes 2 days tops.

I sometimes had that DVD message with alc120%. I don't know how to make it give that. But I think that I can on CloneCD. Is it worth doing though.

One last Ques. I am about to trade my v8 or 9 for a brand spanking new one with Dixons. Am I gonna be able to play my CD-rs on the new one?

ps2 magic swap - slide tool
pioneer dvd 106d dvd-rw

thanx for the info, yeah the v9 will be fine, not much of a difference in the 2 until you get to v10, and soon the new PStwo. Your cdr's will work the same way
good luck

capt. - cheers man.
I can't email outwards for some reason. ???
Please email me on
slimshady@homeinatrailer.wanadoo.co.uk
I hope you read this coz I can't email from anywhere.

PS. Did you get Breaker Pro??

If you did. Have you managed to use BreakerPRO at THE SAME TIME as CDloader.

And does breaker PRO work with your DVD version of SMagicCD [ or maybe the 610mb+ problem is fixed on it already.

Anyways, please email it as soon as. Mine don't work now. :o[

Could someone please send me or tell where to get the SM CD on DVD?

My DVD works great, but the CD only boots about one in ten tries.

Thanks!

Hi im hoping one of you guys can help me out, i've just brought Magic swap, i copied 2 ps2 games (pes4 & Rocky 2). I used DVD Decryter, on a dvd-rw disk, after the copy i followed all the intructions with swap magic but when i got to inserting my back up i press x and get orange/red lines on the top and bottom of my screen. I dont know why or how its doing this and just wondered if any one does - if so how can i get it to boot them up right? Could it be that a dvd-rw disk does not work or am i missing something such as dvdloader? hope someone can help.
