This is from ps2nfo.com:
Quote: Today the World's first PSP Launcher was released for Lumines. We have already confirmed it works on a v1.50 firmware PSP with the Dynarox USA release of Lumines, however, it currently plays without sound. How was this achieved exactly? Well, similar to the WAB MS Launcher you'll need to extract the contents of the Lumines iSO to your Memory Stick's root directly using iSOBuster or a similar application. When doing this, you should end up with a PSP_GAME directory there with all the game files in it, and also a UMD_DATA.BIN file in the MS root. Then simply install the Lumines Launcher by copying the files to your PSP\GAME directory manually or via the previously-released KXpolit v1.50.

Update (pspupdates.com):
Quote: Team Xecuter has released a newer version of the ISO launcher for Lumines. This version does not require a UMD to be in the drive when loading the Lumines ISO from the Memory Stick. Lumines so far is the only game ISO that is able to be booted, simply because of a lack of UMD checks as the game runs. Xecuter notes that this is not a ?hack?, it?s just a fluke with certain UMD checks. They also add that the audio will be fixed in their next release.

Oh wait, there's also loader for mercury:
Quote: The Piracy Snowball gets larger and picks up more speed. Sampson and WAB have released an ISO loader for Mercury. This loader allows you to play Mercury from the memory stick. We hear that currently you need Ridge Racer in the UMD drive for this to work. Though we do not support piracy at PSPUpdates, we report all news about the PSP. This what, the fourth ISO loader in two days?

And coded arms:
Quote: Looks like the Piracy Snowball is speeding up it?s roll. A Coded Arms ISO loader by ReGNaSTa has been confirmed to be released and working. It is an altered version of the Puzzle Bobble loader which allows you to run Coded Arms from your Memory Stick with full audio.

thought you might find this a lil' interesting...i haven't tried it (don't have lumines or a 1gb ms)...If your using the us version of lumines, hex edit the boot.bin on address 0070E38 and change the values 86 E3 7D 97 into B5 61 0F 71...And the sound works

1.http://www.isohunt.com 2.search "coded arms"
3. Look for "Coded arms Any UMD/ No UMD" torrent.
4. follow readme instructions
5.Play game w/ any UMD inserted or use the dumb approach by taping the UMD detection switch down.
Notes: Make sure that after you have extracted the iso files to the MS, you rename PSP_GAME to COA_GAME. **You do not have to copy the prx files to WAB's 2.5 common/prx folder. Last and the very least, make sure you own the game before downloading.
*Haven't got to it yet but new loaders have been released for several games allowing infrastructure/ad hoc abilities by utilizing all the prx files.

"copy codedarms jap release files to ms root
rename PSP_GAME dir to COA_GAME
copy files from zip to ms root
have fun!
ash"
-This is the whole readme from the torrent i downloaded.
Your problem is you are using the WAB loader i believe. The WAB loader requires any of your games to be named PSP_GAME. The best idea is to download the individual loaders for the game you want. When you do so, you will end up with different game folder names (I.E. PSP_GAME --> COA_GAME). This allows multiple games to be played on your single MS.
**And to answer your question directly, no you cannot simply edit the name of your game from PSP_GAME to xxx_GAME. This is because the EBOOT files are looking for PSP_GAME. YOU CAN HOWEVER change the name if you have the loader which requires you to rename the folder.
