Hi, I've followed the guide, and its great. I got all the cheat codes I wanted... except for Pokemon Diamond. Does anyone know why it's not showing up? It's really hard to explain my problem because it works for everything but diamond.

Only 1 cheat code shows. I followed all directions to get the Action replay cheats, copied the XML file to the proper place, but only 1 of the many cheats shows up. Does this process allow you to have all the cheats that you copy to your custom codelist? I had a huge problem after I updated my firmware, (loading screen was all I had) thanks to someone out there I got v 1.25 and am back at it.

I only give instructions for the R4 but this works on the M3 simply as well, you just need to get the newest firmware, 1.04.
This is verified by myself, and it works great :)
Ok first, you need the latest R4 firmware, v 1.18 (as of writing):
http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm
Next you want the Code Manager from Datel:
US version:
http://us.codejunkies.com/nds_actionreplay/SetupUS1_05.exe
Euro version:
http://us.codejunkies.com/nds_actionreplay/SetupEU1_05.exe
Finally you want the R4 Cheat code editor:
http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm
or if the site is down, then get it here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/32954884/Cheat_code_editor.rar
Now it gets easy :-D
Update you MicroSD card with the new firmware
Install the Code Manager.
1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want.
2. Under My Codelists right click and select paste.
3. Let it import the games into your codelist.
4. Once it has completed go this folder:
C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists
Find the XML, it should say something along the lines of customcodelist.xml
Open the Code Editor and go to file and press Import XML file.
Import the one you just made and then go to file and Save As cheat database. Save it as usrcheat.dat.
Now open the card again and navigate to the system folder. Copy the new usrcheat.dat file to that folder and you are done :)
If you have any question, post here and I will help you ;)

I know someone else already asked about this, but no one has delivered a solution to it yet. I did everything exactly as the instrution says but i'm stuck at the part where you need to copy the game code that i want into "my codelists".
I copied them into "my custom codelist" thats under the "my codelist part but when i go to C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists to find the XML file "customcodelist.xml" file (or what ever it's called) its not there.
i only see the default codelist. I tried searching my files for it but the file doesn't exist.
P.S. i'm using an m3 ds simply
i'm not sure what i did wrong.

It depends on where it is saving it... You need to make sure you're not saving anywhere other than the default directory. Also, please post your procedure and the Operating System you are using. I think this thread is mostly dead, the only people that respond to it anymore are always people who are having problems. .

haha no problem. I'm glad your as happy and relieved as i was when i realized why the cheats started working for me without following the steps on this thread. Took me a while though.
I think it was because i re downloaded the moonshell files (that were newer) and it came with a cheat file (unlike the old one) or something i did with AR triggered it, or both. idk. anyways enjoy the cheats everyone :)

If the firmware is in a folder called "English" (or what not), please drag the files from it to the root of your R4 card.
