I think because they got something special. I mean, something X360 and Ps3 won't have. We all heard that its going to have a great controller, but is this true? I dunno. What if they are finally putting a HDD, I mean, didn't they say you can download old NES and SNES games and play them on the Revolution? But judging from the size...I think it's going to be an external HDD that you can hook up to the Rev.Controller will be wireless obviously, because we don't see any controller ports. On thing that bothers me or gets me confused is the HDD. Like I said, judging from the size, it seems like you need an external HDD to download games, but what about SAVING GAMES? No memory card slots, and that means you need a HDD, but then you have to buy a HDD, and that gets me so confused...I mean I don't know if you're going to get it with the Rev (internal) or have to buy it without the Rev (external)....CONFUSING! The thing that confuses me is the size...It lookes like it's THICKER than the PS2 Slimline, but it lookes like its half the length. What if the Revolution will not have a big fan? Will that effect the system by making it overheat or get really, really hot just like the PS2 Slimline? I mean, if Nintendo is going to make you buy an external USB fan for the Rev, and an external HDD, and other external things for online gaming, than I think they are going to make a lot of money.

Thats some good input. I think that nintendo is sitting back and studying what the other companines are doing. In the past they have had some of their ideas taken by presenting it too early and to the general public. I am not worried just look at the possibilites of the DS. As far as the game downloads I think they are using SD slots built in to store these games. I mean A N64 rom are usually no more than 256mb. Well have to see

Nintendo is basically toying with us. Seriously, they're not waiting or studying. It's pretty much a big mystery, and Nintendo is making us their bitches, excuse the language.

We will be taken by suprise once the Revolution comes out. I don't think The Big N is worried about tech specs. They want quality games and thats what they will give us. Dont get me wrong I am a big fan of all the consoles and in the past Nintendo always suprises me. Though it is frustrating that we have not heard a word about the Revo and its suppose to come out in 2006

when the N64 showed off its controller too soon before release, sony braught out the DUAL analoge controller almost at the same time of the release! Nintendos just waiting for Sony and Microsoft to invest most of its budget before showing off.

ok well i think nintendo rev hasent released much because they dont have must to talk about at least not yet ok first of all they make more money giving info that holding back unless they havent got much to say kinda like nintendo's predicament right now see when you have somthing special and your competitors dont then your gonna want your customers to know about it so that they will buy your poduct instead of your competitor's product

It's coming out around the same time as PS3 and PS3 told you nearly everything about the system. We haven't even seen a Revo screen shot yet, or a final version of everything, b/c Nintendo said the console is probably going to be much smaller than was shown and the controlller might change slightly.

I remember having the same hopes when the Gamecube was released. I was sure Nintendo had "something up their sleeve".
Nintendo does not have anything BIG planned that we have not already heard about. The system will be able to churn out as decent of graphics as the PS3 or 360.
It's controller has been introduced, and game developers know what it could provide.
Nintendo has a general history of not releasing system information. They don't intend to make the most powerful system on the market because, quite frankly, they don't need to. Nintendo doesn't join this number hype frenzy because that's what it is. Hype.
Don't be fooled by the numbers. All 3 systems will have relatively similar capabilities.
The more I talk about it, the more I believe that the Revolution controller will have an infinitely larger affect on gameplay than even the most innovative central processing unit. I think Nintendo also believes this, which is just another reason they havn't released system specs. Instead, they released their controller.
(FYI: A classic style expansion controller will also be availiable. Many of the games planned to be released may not even use the free-hand motion capability.)
As for the hard drive, that's a good question. I can't imagine storing the entire Nintendo Library on a 15 GB internal hard drive. Can you?
It sure would be convient, though...
The hard drive connecting to the controller is a little far fetched. The controller can't do everything, silly.

I believe they have no rush to release info, since the Revolution won't be competing directly with he PS3 and 360. The latter are being merchandize as media hubs, while the Rev will remain more true to it's game console roots and appeal to more budget minded consumers. I don't believe that the Rev will be for children, just to people more concerned about gaming than the ones that dish out $1K for an HDTV and half that for a 360 or PS3 and one game.
Razengan!!!

Wow... that's all I have to say. I'm gonna be honest, you won me over to your side with that compelling argument. So articulate. "...it is going to suck", if anyone other than you had said that I'd would have dissagreed.
