Heres something i thought about, i got all excited thinking about the playstation 3 coming out and then i thought something else........it is said that the ps3 will be networked with the psp via wifi using it as a controller or something, but i thought , there is nothing on the psp thats says connect to wifi station or ps3 or whatever, so my point is do you think sony will screw us all by releasing a new firmware 2.50 or something?!! Beacause that would be the only way for the psp to connect to the ps3 via wifi. They'll probably say something like you must upgrade your psp to 2.50 to connect to the ps3!!
Well if the PSP/PS3 connectivity is anything like the GameCube/GBA connectivity then you'll have nothing to worry about. Because thus far, it's proven to be a relatively worthless marketing gimmick. Or in the case of FF: Crystal Chonicles the downfall of an otherwise entertaining multiplayer RPG. But for most games its adds up to asinine gimmicks.
Oh boy, you mean if I pay $60 for Madden on PS3 and $40 for Madden on PSP I'll be able to select my plays on from my PSP screen instead the TV and not be able to use a right stick, and not have two extra buttons, and use a controller that's significantly less comfortable!?!?!
Pass.
Oh not to mention that someone will probably just make a homebrew solution. ;)
Yeah, they porbably don't have psp packed yet with the required software to handle psp <-> ps3 connectivity. SO another way to take people away from homebrew. It will probably be just like Poblasai said, just overhyped shit to sell the product.
