It's basically a lottery when buying a psp now, I bought the gigapack and it came with 2.0, so I've downgraded to 1.5, but I've heard of several people who got stuck with 2.01.
@lhk890419 you don't need 2 memory sticks to downgrade.

hey guys
i got a jap psp version 1.5 and runnig fastloader 0.7 on it
i ha da few games but quickly got bored of it now there is a game i want to play and got the iso but it dont work
its winning eleven 9
when i try loading it on fastloader
the whole machine just crashes and it cant even turn it off
i have to take out battery just to reset the machine
help would be nice anyone as i really wanna play thing game

PHEWWWW....after 2 sleepless nights I finaly got my iso games worked on my PSP. Thanks a million to all of you GUYS!!!You are all GENIUS Ill be glad to help all the newbies like me if I can...Next stuff is my friend who has a 2.2 or 2.1 version,need to degrade his PSP. Is it possible? Where can I get the programs? thanks again...

@glentat..sorry man can't downgrade that version yet...
@wongy...hhmmm i cant' remember if winning eleven is able to be played in iso format...sorry never tried it so i don't know...but i'll check around for ya
@babalot...go to the first page of this forum for the guide on fastloader...i used fastloader v5 as the program, but umdemulator\fastloader\devhook are all installed the same way...as for the wab version changer...put the WABVERSIONCHANGER and WABVERSIONCHANGER% folders in the PSP\GAME directory and then back out of usb mode and start it up from the memory stick area....a black screen should come up on your psp with instructions on how to emulate each firmware....
OOOHH and you don't need two memory sticks to play homebrew or use fastloaders....you can do it off of just one...

@evnflow,thanks for the info. any idea how to reduce MIDNIGHT CLUB 3??? TOO BIG!!! 1.50GB so which files am I going to delete and any software to reduce it, thanks.

midnight club is shrinkable(after heavily ripping it!!), but it's really not too playable...you can't customize your car and it will crash the psp if you try to customize it...if i find a better way of ripping it, i'll let you know...sorry

@evnflow, how about PSP firmware 2.01, is it possible to downgrade it to 1.5? coz that's the firware release for PSP in UK. Is there a thread for the list of PSP games that are over 1gb? Thanks for the help man.

LOTR tactics works, the only real problem with it is that it freezes on the second or third battle but if you go download a save file that already has that mission beat you can play thrrough the rest of the game with no problem. If you look around you should be able to find one, or maybe someone on these boards knows where to get one, anyway just look around and you should be able to find it fairly easily

hi all, i am new to all the fast loader stuff, i am having a few probs. so far i have obtained a fastloader, i put both of the folders into the game menu. do i have to make another folder? if so where do i put it. the stuff that goes in it, is it the ISO game? the that looks like a CD on the front. how do you acsess it.

@evnflow How do you play fastloader using just one memory stick? I thought you can't play fastloader with just one memory stick if you have v 1.5 PSP, can you?

I'm confused with how to upgrade to f/w 2.0 I have f/w 1.52. I have tried searching the thread and can't find the answer. Help would be appreciated. the link I received psphacks seems to assume you already know how to upgrade f/w.

HI, I have download 3 games from mininova burnout, GTA, and SOCOM, After downloading to my pc they all are WinRAR files which contain PSP_GAMES and UMD file. then i try to convert them to ISO file through vcdromx, I got again WinRAR file . Now is this an ISO file ? I usually put this WinRAR file ( what i got after converting them to ISO file) but i couldn't start the game. tell me what to do
