Hi All,

I'm about to purchase a new LCD television but am a bit confused by all the new connection methods. Some TV's have DVI and others have HDMI then we have component and on and on and on......

I really dont want to waste money by getting a new LCD tv only to find out I can't connect it to my nice new Xbox 360 (or PS3 - not sure what one of these to go for either) using HD. Then I have to think about Sky HD and a new DVD player!!! Arg, my head hurts.

I have my eye on the LG RZ-32LZ55 but it only has DVI and I'm worried I wont be able to make the HD connection to my new games console. What exactly should I be looking for in connections for my new TV?

P.S. Is it really worth going for HD with a 32inch screen?

I highly doubt you'll be able to tell any real difference between HDTV in a 32-inch. I mean I can't really tell. But hey, if it's your cup of tea then go for it.

well if i were u i would get a lcd with vga ports along with dvi or hdmi...i say this is because the xbox 360 will be using component not dvi or hdmi ( which i think are video sources only) well anyways the vga ports is basicly for pc but xbox 360 gonna be using those so u mind as well use it or use component

well i read that the ps3 will support hdmi...well nyways dont forget to one of those tv that have both hdmi with dvi and if u like u can get a vga just in case if u wanted to hook up ur xbox 360 to a vga port
