i just mean to rein stall windows i say reformatting i dont even know if thats what it means for sure but im guessing it does. but the point i think i might reinstall windows jus to start a clean slate

I didnt buy my computer from pc world or something like that but I had mine built and I dont have the disk for XP Pro.So I can't reformat it,unles I can download it.Have you got a link to download it.

me too i had mine built also i never had a windows cd either. lukily my dad had 1 i could use other then that i have never downloaded windows before so i wouldnt no id say jus grab it off a torrent site but.... i dunno see if a friend has it

boys , boys , boys !!
number 1 : no talking bout dl windows unless you have your own serial number that you bought .And i only think you can dl it not to sure though ?
number 2 : using torrents is quite slow at times :( but we all have to live with it , @MNA try using bittornado , sorry that azureus wasnt for you :( . demonoid has registered that you have got the email , you need to turn your spam settings of and check your bulk mail , plus you cant use hotmail or yahoo accounts it accepts the mail as spam

reformatting your computer wont make you download any faster !
you need to tweak the settings on azureus , for starters give me a bit o info on your pc specs include OS
speed of your broadband?
then we can work it all out :-)

unfortunately no , im not certain what your download speed should be , try using http://www.testmy.net to check your download speed if you dont know how to read it post your results and i will explain (note bit tornado can be slow at uploading and can kill your ratio with alot of sites resulting in getting you banned :( )

to be honest i dont really notice azureus running on my comp it just runs away in the backround , try using utorrent again its supposed to be pretty good :)
did you get the email of demonoid ? if not re pm me and i'll sort it for you :)

I didnt delete Azureus yet.I just tried it one last time and it didnt slow my pc down it was normal.I didnt do the speed test,but I can tell you before I used to reach speeds of average 50kb.So i am keeping Azureus,and the port you use 49152,I tried the NAT test on Azureus but it says unable to test.Plus i have checked my bulk e-mail and I have turned the spam settings of and i dont think i have received the demonoid e-mail.THANKS :)

I have received the Demonoid e-mail using my isp e-mail.THANK YOU.I was just wondering is demonoid a website to get torrens like www.isohunt.com.What is so good about it that makes it better than normal torrent sites such as www.isohunt.com

sorry forgot to check up... celticfc1 my comp specs are AMD Athlon64+ 3.0Ghz, 1.0G DDR Ram, Windows XP Pro. For the Broadband Speed I have high speed cable so I took the test at http://www.testmy.net and here's the link to my results.

Also i just checked the speeds at at rogers.com (isp) and it says that my Modem broadband is up to 3.0 Mbps download and 384 Kbps upload.

i switched my internet from usb to the other 1 (i dont no what its called) its hooked up thru the ethernet card now its says

the point is im still having problems, got any ideas why i might not me getting any good D/l speeds on bittornado/azureus/Revconnect i doubt that making a change will help me. most of all i just want to know why i couldnt connect to any trackers using Bitornado

right here we go , delete bit tornado , Azureus and other bt clients that you have installed . Then download ccleaner from here http://www.ccleaner.com
once installed open > run cleaner (twice)
then on the top right hand side it says issues with a blue reg key over it. Click scan for issues > fix selected issues > back up > ok > close .
repeat until there is no issues . Reinstall Azureus (your pc is fast enough and you have enough mem to run it ok)
configure port to 49152. Job done :)
The reason you couldnt connect is probably (now this is a guess)
that the ports were not configured and bit tornado can be very slow at times (remembering that it is experimental)
good decision to switch to ehernet over usb :)
MNA i havent forgot about you if you could do the same and post back if you could and let me know how you are getting on
