OK, after Lots of searching, i finally found the software and was able to download it off of limewire.
Since it was SOOO much trouble to find/download, i decided to post it on my site.
it's 120MB so i will only promise to leave it up until 10/05.
After that there's no promises.

MPT setup will not complete. Setup is asking for "disc 1 that contains file layout.bin." I'm stuck. Can you help?

mossyy...
i installed da driver n da P2Kmam.... da P2Kman program workz buh derez no info wen i connect da cell 2 da pc.... n wen i click on sumthin.... it sayz phone not connected or sumthin.... do u no da problem 4 diz?...

i had the same problem, but fixed it by installing the phone as a modem using the connection options in the program.?.

this is for a motorola V220 on WinXP btw.
open up mobile phone tools after installing the P2K driver and updating the software. ( this part took 3 updates an 2 reboots for me.)
Then you will want to skip any attempts to install the phone or set up a connection, you just want access to the options menus in the software.
Once you have access to the main program you will want to click on
"Menu, Setup, General Setup" or press the "F6" key.
From general setup you will want to click on the tab labeled "Comunication", then click the "Change Modem" tab.
Select "Next", then if you have something like "Motorola USB Modem"
quit reading this `cuz ur wastin ur time. this isn't ur problem.
IF you don't, select "Add", then "Next" and follow the wizards instructions if you got the driver right.
if this doesn't work, read the Italics.
IF you don't, have the "Motorola USB Modem" listed and the add new hardwae wizard is messing up then select "Add", click the check-box that says "Don't Detect My Modem, I will select it from a list." so that it is checked "on".
Now click next.
What you should have now is a window that is devided in 2 panes, side, by side. (if not you screwed up and should start over.)
Select "Motorola" on the left side.
in my case i think i selected "Motorola USB Modem".
now reboot with the phone hooked up to the pc.
once ur back up, run the software and it should auto detect the phone properly now.
this is how i finnally got it to work on my laptop.
Hope this helps, cuz it took a long time to write.

I try to download the drivers but I get this error message: Pagina no valida,

delete all the drivers from ur computer and use the drivers thar r on the top of the forum, install these drivers and it will work....

Hey guys, I downloaded the MPT stuff and the drivers and my phone connected, but I could not transfer ringtones to my phone. I even called the Cingular person and asked if I could, but they said my phone didn't have the ability. I have the cable needed. Can anyone PLEASE help me find the software to transfer ringtones to my phone?

Ok I think the reason my ringtones are coming out really wierd is because I didnt change it froma variable bit rate to a constant bit rate on wavepad. How do I change that?
