I just told you Zukhaib, you can use nero.. or any other cd writing program come to that... Sly said he used dvd decrypter!!
With dvd decrypter you go into mode iso write and select the cue or bin or whatever.. it'll still burn it.

What files have you got for the disc ID utility... either list them here or printscreen and host the image at http://www.putfile.com
We're trying to help you... saying it won't work doesn't tell us the problem.

Well, I just did it using Nero, took me less than a few minutes to burn the disc, put in swap magic cd and swap for id utility then put in original game to get the dnas$ off of.
works perfectly... and I've never used it before cos I don't play online backups.
All you do is open Nero, go to the burn image program... select the cue file, set the burn speed and burn it.

It's ok, I know how frustrating it can be when soemthing won't go correctly... but don't start blamimg others who are trying to help you and saying that they are wrong about a program they have been using for a long time.
Now, what were you doing wrong? why wasn't it working? it may help someone else reading this why it wasn't working for you.
Glad you got it going in the end :)

what i did wrong the first time? i went onto Nero and i wasn't sure of what things to use...
When you open up Nero a quick menu comes up called "New Compilation"
i clicked on ISO and in the File name length it said "Max. of 11=8+3 Chars (ISO level 1)"
The format was "Mode 1"
Character Set was "ISO 9660 (Standard ISO CD ROM)
and Joilet was Checked
I didnt understand 1 THING!!!!!!!!
anyway i clicked on "NEW"
I put the Disc ID Utility .BIN file in.
Then i clicked on "Burn Current Compilation"
so it start burning and the Disc ID Utility disc didnt work!
then paddymail suggested that "All you do is open Nero, go to the burn image program... select the cue file, set the burn speed and burn it."
Simple instructions made the Disc ID Utility program for the Playstation 2 WORK!!!!
Thanks mate!

No worries, glad you got it working in the end.
You could have done the same thing with DVD Decrypter, just select the source file, which was the .cue file... then select your burner. set the burn speed and it's done.
Dvd decrypter only reads DVD's, but writes DVD's and CD's.
Oh well, I now have a disc id utility that I probably won't ever use again, LOL.

paddymail, I took the CD-based PS2 games (Silent Scope 3/EX & Time Crisis 2) & wrote back to CD using DVD Decrypter with .ISO file. They came out great. Made sure to burn at lowest speed (10X in this case) & not a single frame skip so far.

I'm not sure about that...I think it should be able to.. Nero should be able to also, or imgburn. There's only one way to find out.. you have nothing to lose cos if the program doesn't support the file format then you aren't doign anything to the disc.. so then just try another program.
What files did you get? and how big are they?
You normally get a cue and bin file from a cd.. if you got a bin file then yes just use DVD Decrypter to burn that.

They're both cd games I'm pretty sure.. but one way to know is to look on the actual disc, it'll say either dvd-rom or cd-rom.
Or was this a downloaded game?
List the files you got or printscreen and host the image of the files at soemthing like http://www.putfile.com for me to see.

Quote: The two games are Silent Scope 3 & Time Crisis 2. Not in front of the pc where they are, BUT they were both over 700MB but under 740MB.
They are dvdrips. Dvd based games ripped down to fit on cd.
