has anyone messed with this yet?
anything special I need to know before I burn it?
do I need to rebuild it, or remove dummies?
btw, I got it from solops.com ,,,Iso = 3.75gb

I just tried a straight burn 4x with DVD Decrypter, and it seems to be working so far, I've been playing for like 5 minutes now....

a few of the intro messages are in english, but the audio and the subtitles are japanese, I cant find a menu or any way to change them.

Eh, I'm having some difficulties myself with KH2. I use the Fliptop/Swap Magic 3.6 combination. Not real sure where I'm going wrong. All I get though is the "Not Valid PS2 disc" Error again and again when i try the special boot. ><

It isn't. It's the Japanese version of the game. I'm using V4-9 Fliptop and Swap Magic 3.6. Same I would use to play any import game, but i wanted to back up KH2. >> Doesn't seem to like me.

Yeah, I'm getting it to work. But every time I use my backup it won't let me load a save file, I always have to use the origional. Could this be due to a burning issue with the disc? I have Narutimate Hero 2 and it works fine with both my regular copy and backup copy, save wise so maybe I did something wrong. I used DVD Decrypter like every site I've seen said so unless the media is f'ed up I don't know what's wrong. BTW I used TDK DVD-R for it, I can start a new game but like I've said it won't let me load it.
Edit:
Oh yeah, for those who were wondering if you can switch to English audio or text you can't. You can only find that in the KH: Final Mix, which was only made with the first one. They may release the same for KH2 but they aren't going to do that till the US version is released...

Yeah, I'm having problems as well; I tried using the GameShark Swap Trick method and PS2 CD Loader, burned it to a Memorex DVD-R, checked it in Nero and ISOBuster, all the LBAs and sizes and everything are correct, but to no avail! :( Also, I have extracted all of the FMVs from the disk, so I know it's not a problem with the disk itself...but I'll burn another copy...see how that turns out.
EDIT: I think I found the problem; I've ben using the infamous CMC MAG disks :P Have to find another brand...will post back with results later.

I have a copy and I burned with DVD Decrypter. I also use the Memeory Card Exploit. It loads up just fine, but the only problem is when I want to start a new game it won't let me. I get past all the JAP mumboo...jumboo... and then it leaves the title screen like I'm going to play and the screen stays black but disc keeps spinning kept it there for awhile and still didn't come up. Using Maxwell DVD=R media and burning with DVD Decrypter. I've tried rebuilding iso and doing a straight burn and still getting the same results. HELP, please want to play game really bad. I'm sorry but I think you're wrong.
I just checked KH: Final Mix and there's no option to change subtitles or sound. The Sound is English by default and the subtitles are JAP by default. There's no way to change them.
About the DVDs, I always use DVD-Rs.I heard bad stuff about DVD-Rs, and I've never seen anybody make an RW work.

gay. i uploaded kh2 to my hdd after downloading it, and it just leads to a black screen at one point after hollow bastion. =[ big let down, i was really getting into the game. anyone know how to fix that?

I burned this game for my lil brother, and being it in japanese, he was still able to beat the game in like 3 days.....
