@ wolf123: Yes, it does. Please try using the search function in the future, or atleast check the stickies in the PS2 forums.
Anyway, take a look at Tokjin's PS2 Mod Overview FAQ. It's chock filled with the info you need: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/252193
And while FFVII might be one of my favorite FF's, (FFVI/VII often battle for #1) I don't see how number of sales and a game's popularity directly reflect quality. There's tons of underrated, undersold games out there. Like ICO, Shadow of Colossus, Indigo Prophecy, etc. Yet the generic GTA clones, Movie Adaptations or other garbage will sell close to double-digit millions.
@ Tokjin: Damn, that's a helluva good burn! I mean 99% is good and all, but the PI and PO numbers speak for themselves. 0 PO failures, bravo! Maybe I should consider getting another DVD burner. I have Yuden000T02 and Verbatim DVD-R's 8x, with the TY code and I've NEVER had burns even remotely close to that, with so few errors. @_@
And yeah I really can't wait to take the Matrix Infinity for a spin...If it gets here this week that is! If it doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll have to wait till Monday, cause my campus mail closes for the weekend. Then I still have the shipping time TO Davbere, the installation time, and finally the return shipping home. The poor little bugger has to get shipped coast to coast twice. ;P
Signature? What signature!? Oh wait...I actually have one
now.

I need to get a mod chip... i have a matrix infinity for my fat PS2 but never finished soldering(kinda fried the PS2). But i have the slim one now so i doubt the same infinity will work(bought it like a year and a half ago) o well...Maybe ill just stick with swap magic.
Hopefully FF 12 has enough mini games and fun side quests that will make the game more entertaining. That is one of the reasons why FF7 was so great.
Oh and The God Father is an alright game, love to beat the crap outta ppl and negotiate to take over their business. Im thinking it will get old after a while tho. Hate gettin iced...

Yeah I'm downloading GodFather now. It looks like it'll be pretty fun. I'm not really going to play it much, just one of those GTA clones that'll be fun. Nothing I've played can match San Andreas in that genre. Tales is cool. I have the battle difficulty on hard, man I wondered into the wrong area while building eres, yuck. I was dying every other fight. The enemies were kicking the crap out of me. I was cursing like a sailor into the wee hours of the morning. I figured it was good training though, no telling how difficult some of the later enemies will be. I got to the point where I could beat the enemies most times without dying, though I still save after every fight in that area. I don't see how sales figures have anything to do with how good a game is. A ton of people bought Lego Star Wars and 50 Cent Bulletproof, does that make them good games? Not in my opinion. Read some reviews of 50 Cent BulletProof for a good chuckle. The same goes for popularity. Oh boy Driver Parallel Lines or True Crimes Streets of New York, wow those are great games *cough cough.* Those games are popular, but not particularly good. There's nothing wrong with thinking FFVII is the best game in the series, but to say it's the best in the series because of popularity and sales figures, is specious.

Well, specific games define a genre. GTA and Final Fantasy are two of those. Yeah Tales is fun, though ive had it on hard like all the time lol, and ive only been killed a few times in the later stages of Chapter 3. Just started Chapter 4 late last night, and saved in Werites Beacon. Gonna go level up a bit, maybe teach Moses a few new Eres.
Oh, and im still wondering why Chloes moves are so cool and can go like 10+ hits, and Senels are crappy looking with only 2-3 hits. Pisses me off, though i still like playing as Senel best.

Just wondering as Dragonball Z series is getting abit too commercial for my liking (after getting to the Majin Buu Saga it starts to go abit downhill) is there any top fighting anime that you'd recommend with English/American audio.

Yeah I stopped dying in Tales. I doubt you wondered into the area I did at the levels I did. I mean at the very beginning of the game, when you can head north instead of go to the Mtns. The enemies were a pain. I went there at like level 4. If you did and didn't die alot, then kudos, you have passed me in TOL skill. I like the game. I'm going to overlevel like crazy, like I always do. Some of the bosses will be still be really tough. That's a theme in the Tales series, they have some extremely hard bosses, regardless of level. DBZGT was awful, alot of people feel that way from what I've read online. DBZ was the shite. Yes the plot blew, and the episodes drug out way too much, but I love the Super Saiyans and the fighting.

Well, he did make a cocky comment. Don't let it get to ya Paul. Let him say what he wants. Compare ur burn results with him in screenshots. Ask someone like Tokijin, King Of Burns, to back you up in this. He's free to express his opinions, but not in the way hes done. Actually, i dunno, im just chatting shit.
All the good torrent websites are closed for registration. Noooooo! Torrentleech are still closed for registrations, hope they come back up soon...

@ paul1085: Don't let people get you ya', it only causes more stress. As for a fighting anime, I strongly recommend Tenjou Tenge, (Tenjho Tenge western version). The fights are a LITTLE more realistic then DBZ, and there's almost no Ki usage, but it's a neat brawler. You can check both the anime and manga out if you want. My friends and I enjoyed it, plus it has PLENTY of fanservice. ;D Also, if you haven't you might want to check out DragonBall; but yes as many say, stay clear of DBGT.
I know I said I wouldn't but I'm gonna do it again: Since this is a FFXII thread by nature (even though it almost always turns into potpourri) I'd like to notify you anime fans that I did start an anime thread in All Other Topics. >_>

Yeah don't like some cocky yoyo get to you. I've put many a cocky yoyo in their place during the course of 5,000 posts. Most are too ignorant to defend themselves against an educated person. The ones that can, either will not give up, or really know what their talking about, usually the former. It's not a part of AD I enjoy, but I will never back down to some yahoo passing along BS info. Building too many levels in Tales. I want to play it alot tonight, I keep getting sidetracked with other things.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do with someone cocky is to walk away. People that're exceptionally ignorant, that's the toughest case. I just passed up a flame war with one such person. I could've torn him shreds, it would've done zero good. I'm not a bully, I don't enjoy picking on people. When someone's response to conflict is a string of expletives and monosyllabic words, that tells you all you need to know. Sorry don't want to get too far off topic. Here's why you should always close all programs while burning. FFX was one of the first TYG02's I burned. Back then I knew nothing, and burned with a ton of programs open. Here's the results.
In Contrast here's FFX Int. (complete with Dark Aeons and Pennance :)

It's hideous get it away! lol. Nah just kiddin kinda looks kinda like a mirror image of one of my first burns using Ridata off ebay. (Since learned NEVER buy media off ebay).
I'll have to keep that in mind from now on. I don't really run programs (except from bitcomet and Norton Internet Security) while burning images, would you advise on closing these down aswell?
TMACRPG I'll have to give Tenjou Tenge a go. Is that the correct spelling?
Just got a new batch of TY's although the readings aren't as good as normal;
PS Tokijin we have all seen your better burns on previous threads, why have you compared it with such a mediocre burn?

Yeh I always get mine off SVP, however they don't have any cheap Panasonic or Verbatim (TYG02 media code), so I'v had to settle for the Taiyo Yuden unbranded which is 100 for £30. :(
Probably one of there ploys to shift all there expensive TYG02.

Unfortunately I don't have the privilege to print directly onto the disc or lightscribe.
I know sticky labels have a bad name but I'v used Neato labels for over 100 backups and not a single one lags.
PS that scan above was both recorded and scanned with a neato label on so maybe if I didn't use them they'd scan in even better.

@ Tokijin, Driver series is the original, they had out-of-the-car 3D graphics WAY before GTA did the 3D on and they had it on the PS1. GTA is a Driver Clone. True crime is a TOTAL clone of Driver and GTA. And I beat Lego Star Wars and so have other people it was a GREAT game but short.

Sorry no offence but how can one of the greatest series (GTA) be a Driver clone when the Driver series is only mediocre at best?
PS Is it just me or didn't the first GTA be released years before Driver did?
