You don't need to mount anything. You have an image file, therefore all you need to do is burn it. If you have a .MDF and .MDS file, use Alcohol 120% to burn the image. Otherwise, you can use DVD Decrypter for everything else.
The process of burning PS2 backups w/ DVD Decrypter is as follows:
1. Insert blank DVD into drive
2. Open DVD Decrypter
3. Mode->ISO->Write
4. Browse to image file
5. Set Write Speed to 4x OR half the speed of the disc (16x -> 8x)
6. Click on Hard Drive->DVD picture to begin burning

As said by someone else, you can go to these websites to buy a modchip or get one pre-modded: modchip.ca, modchip.com or mod-chip.com
You can go hunting for a store that will mod your ps2 for you but they are somewhat hard to find.

Hello and welcome to AfterDawn Forums.
Yes your PS2 needs to be modded either by Software or a hardware mod.
Meaning there is Swapmagic ,the latest versions are 3.6 and coder 3.8,and you have to either use magic keys, fliptop or use the tape and tissue method or get a modchip for your PS2.
Here is a good guide to start
http://www.xtreme-source.com/tutorials-p...te-ps2-faq.html
Also read the huge faq in my signature maybe first, and then the other guides in my sig also.
That should get you started to understand.

How To Burn PS2 Games From Torrent Using DVD Decrypter
I?ve done this many times before, and its time to share my knowledge with you. Use it as a tool to backup/burn your games. Here we go:
Basic assumptions:
1) You have Windows OS.
2) You have DVD Decrypter installed. Find it here. (Skip the Ad)
3) You know how to use torrents, and have a torrent program. Don?t know how to torrent? Leave a comment to request a tutorial.
4) You have a program that can unzip rar files. I recommend WinRar. Get it here.
Step 1. Go to your favorite torrent site, and using your torrent program (I use bitcomet) download a PS2 game. If you reside in the United States, make sure you download the NTSC version. If you get a PAL game, it will not work on your TV because it will flicker due to the refresh rate of the TV. NTSC games have 60 Hz refresh rate, but PAL games have 50 Hz refresh rate.
Step 2. Most often than not, the PS2 game you download will comprise of multiple rar files. Select the first rar file, right click and extract it.
Step 3. Once your game is extracted, you should have an .ISO file. Now open up your dvd decrypter program. Go to Mode > Iso > Write. Insert a blank DVD+R or DVD-R. It is recommended that DVD-R is used because of better compatabilty with PS2 laser, but I have DVD+R work fine so it shouldn?t be an issue.
Step 4. Your screen should look like the one below now. Make sure to set the write speed to half the max rated speed of your blank DVD-r or DVD+r. For instance, if your DVD disc max write speed is 16X, put your burner speed setting at 8X.
Step 5. Now the game should be burning to the DVD.
Step 6. After a few minutes (depending on the speed of your DVD burner), DVD decrypter is complete! Now use your favorite PS2 modchip device and it will work on your PS2.
P.S: I don't know if MDS files work on DVD Decrypter! :)
I hope this helps. If questions, please leave comments! Enjoy!

You extracted it one step to far.
First you need to open winrar and go to OPTIONS/SETTINGS/FILE INTERGRATION and untick the ISO tab.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/248020
You are then able to see your ISO file.
The problem now is you have extracted it, so I hope you have your .rar files yet.
If not you can use Nero if no separate file is over 2GB to burn it to DVD.
open nero burning rom,and select udf/iso option and then select all files in that folder, copy to Compilation.
Burn it at 4x speed on DVD-R media.

I always assume when people post..
You do have a modchip or Swap Magic to boot the backup? If not you will need to have your PS2 modded either by hardware, or software to play backups.

that is true, i had this same problem.
I Burned a couple of DVD's with different methods thinking that i did something wrong
What i didn't knew is that you require a mod-chip, swap-magic etc. to make your back-ups work, so i modded my PS2 with a modbo chip and it all works fine for me now

Once you download a game from a torrent, it will has extensions like part.00, or .00. You can open these files with WinRAR, no other software is needed to open these files. The two softwares you need for this, is WinRAR, and DVD Decrypter.
DVD Decrypter, depending on your settings, can burn .bin, .img, .iso, .nrg, and .mdf. You need a DVD BURNER to burn these images, I also recommend that you buy either Maxell, Verbatim, or Taito Yuden [Japan], DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs to burn backups with.
Depending on your burner, it supposts certain speeds. Burn each game at the lowest speed your burner supports, if your burner supports 2X, 4X, ad 8X, burn at 2X, 1X is too slow.

You can also burn the DVD at half the maximum speed, for example if u buy verbatim with max writting speed of 16x, u can set the DVD Decrypter to burn it at 8x(half the maximum speed).
It works fine for me.
PS:Forgive the bad english, im still at school

Is your DVD drive working do you know? Is it an older drive.
This post here will tell you about modchips and what they can do.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/485334#2932851
Depends where you live on how can you get one.
An example of one is here, and scroll further down to see installation instructions.
More info on using the Toxic OS For DMS4 Pro chips
There are other tutorials there as well on it.
You could also check out the memor32 card. Its just a memory card that enables you to play backups by using the firmware you install to it, and also to be able to boot Swap Magic for those backups that won't play with the memento firmware.
You can read more about it in my blog in my profile.
Hope that answers your questions.
