Wrong thread for this question - that and we can't help with helping you find games.

I have a 3000. does this mean I cannot mod it at all? There is no hack that can get past that? Whenever I put a downgrade thing on it or w/e it says it's corrupted.

Well that's what this thread is about how - how the psp3000 & ta-088v3 can not be modded right now.

Your not really supposed to talk about illegal downloading on these forms, and you dont "burn" them, you play off a memory stick...

Because you can discuss them to your heart's content, but when you talk about illegal acquisition of said isos/roms, that's when things get sticky and this forum faces the possibility of termination.
As far as other forums are concerned; Those are different forums. If they don't care about legalities, then more power to them. They have no one to blame when they go belly up then. :)

Okay all let's just stick w/ the topic at hand.
Here's the deal - aD has some rules to follow - they are not that hard really and The_KoA hit the nail on the head - legalities and aD is a legit site. For clarification on what is allowed on piracy see this - link.
The choice is yours really - follow and stay - if you don't you won't.

I'm not sure if i'm asking in the right place but here goes nothing.
I currently own a psp phat with 3.71m33-2 firmware, but the analog stick is messed up. I have a 2 year warrenty with best buy but if i send it in i don't want to end up with a psp thats un-downgradeable, seeing as i doubt the do repairs or have any psp 1000s left
So what are my chances the psp i get back is undowngradable or should i just live with the analog stick being off center.

i can't tell you what your chances are of getting an unhackable psp - some would depend on the stores stock. Some may have older ones in stock while others may not.
You can always look into replacing the analog stick yourself - not sure of the cost. Now that would be a query for another thread.

well,my opinion is that DAX's brain is programed like this" if at first you dont sucseed, hack and hack again!",so he will probably come with something up for the psp 3000 and the slims with the unmodable motherboards

Hi guys! I finally got myself a PSP and loaded up CFW 3.90m33 onto it! (actually me and 4 other friends ordered from a store and lucky for us, 4/5 of the PSPs were CFW loadable. my friend got the really cool limited edition one, but i only got a cool color edition one... i think only available in Japan?? feel sorry for the one friend that got the newer psp version.. guess he'll have to buy another one and try his luck.) I've been reading the posts, but haven't posted since I just got my PSP the other day.
Could someone tell me if there are any practical advantages to using CFW 4.01 or even 5.00? 3.90 seems pretty stable to me, so if no big advantage, don't really feel like tinkering around with that..
