okay, I can get dvdloader to work i guess with dvd games. but that is not the problem. the prob is i cant get the cdloader to load cd backup games. I used clonecd to copy harvest moon and then booted the ps2 with boot magic 3.2 "cd version" and then ejected the bm which caused it to ask me for a higher toc which then i put in shinobi. after that i used slider to change the shinobi to my harvest moon but it didnt work. all i get is the swapmagic black screen with the purple dilating borders.
help...

what u r supposed to do is:
1. Put in swap magic disk cd version 3.0.
2. eject disk, and put in your high toc disk (shinobi)
3. Swap the high toc disk for the cd loader
4. Swap cd loader for burnt game
5. enjoy

when i put in cd loader and push X it goes into a red screen with nothing but the swapmagic word on top and the cd continues to spin. I dont think i can change through swap to the backup.
help...

ps im using this on a v10 of ps2 btw. i wonder if the cd loader works for it.

argg, its like, if i use the original CD blue disk to load the HIGHER TOC request then i can load my back CD game but if i use a silver dvd game to load the TOC it wont work.
that sucks.
does cd loader replace the need for HIGHER TOC with a blue cd or not?
help...

Diehard try this:
1) Insert Swap Magic DVD v3.0 (as the CD version does not work with v10 ps2's).
2) Swap the disk with the DVDloader (remember must be burned on to a DVD and swapped using your slide tool).
3) Once it says insert disk and press X to play, swap with Shinobi.
4) Let it refresh and it should now say PS2 CD on the bottom left.
5) Swap now with your backup CD and press X.

yeah ill send it to ya. although i didnt use it at all for DVD type games, just used the boot magic 2.0 and slider works fine.
its the cd one that with the freaking higher TOC crap thats annoying. its okay i got the process down now. all i need to do every time i wanna play a cd type game is use a CD type blue back to boot the higher TOC then use slider to change to backup.

Does DVD Loader contain a menu selection to select
an option fix (For Example: 5v3 NO PN) like CD loader?
I'm having trouble with my true crime back-up.

yes dvd loader v7all does just press x when dvd loader has loaded to enter the sub menu and select the option you want

Sorry to sound dumb but how do i burn it to a cd.
I have a ps2 model 50002 with a messiah 2 chip and am using hd loader PAL and can not get dvd back ups to work at all.
Do you think this will fix the problem?

it will not work. DVD Loader is only meant to be used with swap magic disks and is used to make some games that originally do not work with swap magic work with them. Also, you cannot burn a dvd loader to a cd, you have to burn it to a dvd(-/+)r. I think there is something wrong with your messiah chip, and there is something that is causing it to malfunction and not run dvd backups work properly.

Hi,
FYI the dvd back ups load in the ps2 fine but when using Hd Loader come us as not a valid PS2 disc.
Im getting angry.

r u using a backup copy of hd loader? If u r then instead just use the original. If u dont have the original, then u have a pirated copy and therefore should be banned. If u r using the original copy of hd loader, maybe the disk is scratched a lot and the ps2 cannot read it anymore, so it isn't booting up anymore.

Hi,
I have an original copy of Hd Loader no pirate.
The hd Loader loads fine but will NOT let me transfer PS2 dvd back ups to my Hard drive.

Yeah ok so what do ppl do with there back ups hmmmmmm.
Dont give me this piracy this and that please.
Remeber Sony makes PS2's and they also make dvd burners.
Ya cant have ya cake and eat it.

hmmmmmmmmmmm i dont know .com? maybe they keep the backups for emergencies and use them with a modchip, when people cant use the originals because of scratches(DUH)!! Plus, u wouldnt need backups anymore if u had a hd loader(DUH)!! What i would reccomend for u .com is to reason with yourself and just admit that u cannot use backups with a hd loader.
