DVD Decrypter to Videora Ipod issues

This works pretty good and I like having my dvds stored in my itunes and having a few on my ipod but a few times when i'm using the decrypter to save the file onto my hard drive it stops somewhere in the middle of converting. It says there is not enough space on disc to fit the file, but I am saving these temp files onto my hard drive that has plenty of space. Is this because the DVD has anti copy software that DVD decrypter can't get around? Is this a common problem?
