If you want to go from a DVD to an iPod Video, the best program I have come across is CloneDVDMobile. Go to http://www.slysoft.com to check it out.

The stickyed guides introduced some programs work well for many guys. You might as well have a look at them and have a try.

I would suggest PQ DVD, Cucusoft, or if you want a free program, try DVD Decrypter and Videora.
PQ DVD: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Encoders-Converter-...
Cucusoft: http://www.avi-vcd.com/dvd-to-ipod.asp
DVD Decrypter and Videora: http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/guides.html
To convert videos to iPod that are from Limewire, Bearshare, etc., use Videora iPod Converter without the DVD Decrypter. ;-)

Yeah, it's a great program for freeware. Here's the guide for DVD Decrypter and Videora:

Just scroll down a bit and there is a good guide dedicated to this program by Lethal_B. ;)

DVD Decrypter & Videora are the only freeware options, but I wouldn't recommend them.. If you are able to purchase software online, I would get PQDVD, it is -- in my humble opinon -- the best DVD to iPod software out there..

I like the DVD Mobile by Slysoft and what it has to offer but...I tried to copy a movie and it said the file was corrupted!

Can not be...it plays on all other players. So I tried to decrypt it thinking it had to be first...got the same results after it was decrypted.

Same problem with other store bought movies. Any ideas what may be wrong? Is this program only for home-made movies?
