ok here's the deal, i have had my 30Gb iPod Video for over 3 months now and it is covered in scratches...

BUT shall i choose a full iPod protector that covers all of my iPod

OR

some iPod polish...

i know the iPod protector will make the iPod look scratch-free but am i better off with some polish because i'm useless at putting protectors on lol

I'd say polish it then get a protector! But if you just want to pick one get a protector. Even if you have a few bubbles it'll look better then a really scratched screen, right?

Get a silicone case. The rubbery feel will give you a better grip so you are less likely to accidentally drop it.

Use ClearCal. It fills in already existing scratches with the adhesive on the back-side and protects the screen also.
It can be found here:

Another suggestion for scratch removal could be brasso. It is an everyday product which you may have laying around in the shed/garage. It is fairly effective in moving minor scratches from your iPod.

well i am very insecure about using brasso because of claims of it turning people's iPods yellow.

I would like to use the clearcal but that product is from the US and i live in the UK

I'm sure that you can get it shipped to the UK, can't you?
