Has anyone had success doing this. My ipod only seems to recognize 50 or so of my nearly 500 contacts, and I have tried to play and get it to recognize the rest, but I cannot seem to do it. It will only download the contacts with e-mail addresses that I have in my email contacts, however, I also have a pocket pc which syncs from outlook, so as I said, I have many more contacts that will not sync with my ipod. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe he does. It's really none of our business. Our only business is to help him get those 500 contacts on his iPod. Let's please stay on task.

ACDC_3101, those sorts of comments aren't needed. Please only post solutions or suitable suggestions. How many contacts one puts on their iPod is besides the point.. if it is possible, and someone wants to do it, then they shouldn't be questioned..

pamispod,

- Connect your iPod to your PC.

- Choose Start ==> My Computer & make sure your iPod is visible.

- in Outlook, find the contact that you wish to transfer to your iPod and open it.

- Choose File ==> Export to vCard file

- In the File Name box, type the name that ye desire the contact to have.

- In the Save as type box, choose VCARD Files from the pop-up list.

- In the Save in pop-up at the top, locate ye iPod.

- In the file window, (which now shows the iPod's contents), double-click the Contacts folder. Click Save. The next time you disconnect the iPod, the contact you saved will appear in the iPod's contacts folder.

If you do this correctly, you shouldn't hav any problems.
