Ok so I just downloaded GGXX Slash 2 days ago thru torrents and i get 32 winrar folders with the names for example name.01 or name.02 ...etc. Each one containts an .iso file. I've been searching and reading thru different threads and from what I understood, I should use DVD Decreypter, burn the iso file after extracting it from 1 of those winrar folders at a very low speed such as 2x. So I did this, and inserted the cd into my ps2 but the game won't work. It won't work as in the "Playstation 2" words show up on screen but then nothing happens.
Any help in here would be appreciated.
Links to other threads in this forum or any other forum would be great too. Thanks a mil (^_^)

think I read Best Buy had some decent ones there or something if you dont like ordering online (which you can get the good ones then)

whats up with snappy replies?? im not trying to bash you or anything, just...shouldnt be so snappy.

Yeah, walmart doesnt have such great media, i was actually surprised when i went to Circuit City and there wasnt just Memosux like at Radio Shack! there were Verbatims :D but anyways, i would just go either buy them off of www.supermediastore.com ot go to a store like Circuit City or Best Buy....even Staples has verbs.

hello,

you are like a bunch of girls arguing over nothing, leave the poor guy alone, and try and help him
whether he downloaded the game or not is his business,if you dont like the fact he has downloaded a game off the net, then choose not to post in threads like these,or if you feel its against the rules to make posts like he has done, then contact the moderators of this site,
its not against the rules to make talk like this,so why make an issue of it?
if some of you have never downloaded a game from the net, then good for you,but i can bet my ass you have either rented one or borrowed one from a friend and copied it.
and if you dont even fall into that catergory, then your probably one from a very tiny tiny majority, and i take my hat off to you
flaming him is not the answer, and is a complete waste of time

@Krowster

have the disks you use loaded a game before?
what is the media code on them...download this and run a disk through it.

burning @x4 is the best speed

cheers

Wait, you extracted the iso image from the rar (the one starting rar) the right way right?

the rarfiles are listed numerically

sometimes there is one listed as :

example.rar
example.r00
example.r01

or sometimes

example.r01
example.r02

(and that first .rar won't be in the list)

If the .rar file is there, extract the game from that.
If there is no .rar file, but all r0 types, them extract from the very first number, either r01 or r00.

If you do that, and then the iso burn still don't work, perhaps dvd .. or in this case, probably cdloader might do the trick.

Not sure where you can download or -Hunt for the -Iso, but dvdloader has helped me once or twice with stubborn games.
