Will the PS3 be recordable ? Will that function be incorporated so people are able to record either standard def tv or high def with set top box or will it be a gaming console only. I think that a much bigger consumer market would be attracted , were it to double up as a recorder.
If not, I will be sticking with my ps2 for a few years to come. I would love to be able to kill 2 birds with one stone.

im a 360 fan but i see what ur saying it could catch gamers and another group of people if it had the whole tivo'ish thing. but that might drive up price too much,sony hasnt given too mnay specific facts about the ps3 thats either a really good sign or a really bad one
