ya, i might (if the iPod position wasnt already taken) It seems like a cross between a Nano and and a video. It seems cool, not to expensive. But hey, with those kinds of things you never know. Could be total crap. But if you do decide to get one please let me know how it turns out. Cool post ebay. Nice ;)

They do look like nanos but has anyone else noticed that they only have 512mb of memory?? Thats WAY below par. Thats not even enough for a movie at a crappy bitrate. If these guys made these with more memory they would have something.

I think that it just looks like a Nano rip-off. LOL

It probably isn't even real, though.

Do you guys think you could fit a nano click wheel on one of these?
Also do you think you can put ipod firmware on these? I would get one if you can add a click wheel or the ipod firmware onto them?

It is highly unlikely that you could put Apple's firmware onto it, but you may be able to hack it. As for your other question, what do you mean by fitting the Nano click wheel on one of those??

Well see they don't com with a click wheel. They have the thing that the ipod shufle has. I would like a click wheel on it. Like the nano has.

So do you think its possible to apply the ipod firmware to it?

I am 99.99% sure that you can't put a Nano click wheel on it and that you cannot put Apple's firmware on it either. I wouldn't suggest buying it unless you find it on another site or in a store or something because ebay tends to have alot of items that are fake or rip you off somehow. ;-)

It seem's like this kind of cr*p has allready happened before:
http://www.engadget.com/2005/12/10/ipod-nano-knockoff/

read this(you won't want one afterwards):
http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=1680

I found a guy who purchased one of those fake one's and these are his problems with it:

* Nonstandard headphone jacks
* No dock connector
* The serial number 6U545TK2TJT
* No included USB cable
* Slightly longer screen than the real nano
* Play/Pause symbol on the middle button
* No repeat option on the on/off switch
* No battery or status light

Really those things are bullsh*t

Yeah they are not worth purchasing at all. Doesn't look like a realiable source and they don't come with enough memory for video's or music.

Where did that guy buy his from? Because there are more then one kind out there. Like the screen size for instance, they have a 1.5" and a 1.8" or 1.6".

I wouldn't trust that if I were you, as you may be digging your own grave by doing it. Just buy something more legit and make sure into it that it is a good quality item. That's just my advise. ;-)

Don't purchase any of these.. they are nothing like the genuine article. If you want a nano, then buy a Nano - don't opt for a lookalike product which is in fact nothing like the Nano. In a nutshell, it's a cheap, poorly manufactured ripoff.

Steer clear! ;-)

He bought it on eBay actually.

Really,don't buy one of those.
Trust me if they were anything like the real ipod's everybody would be going around with one of those(at least I would for that price)not the real Ipod's.

If you're going to buy one i recommend you talk to someone (for real not on the net) who has purchased one of those before. And then purchase one if you still think it's worth it.

Or try one of these things out first.
