I was going to get a Wii and still am planning to. But the footage just looks pathetic. Have you seen zelda, doesnt even look fun, mario looks bad, and red steel looks like a joke, only metroid looks playable. everything looks bad, pathetic and boring. anyone else have the same thoughts???

i did just see another video, the actual level was horrible, but fighting the boss looked fun, i love zelda and want to love this one but it just doesnt look as good...

WHAT!!!!, the games look awesome, i mean super mario galaxy scored more than any other ps3 game at e3. also i love the new controller, after seeeing it in action with zelda and metroid priume i have to say it looks fantastic.

well IMO i love mario and will be getting a ds for only mario games, but galaxy just looks HORRRIBLE... but metroid looks awesome and zelda is so so but after seeing the recent video it does look a lil better, idk well only know when it comes out

Rabbity, you can't honestly say the games look "awesome" for Wii. Some of the Sony and MS stuff like Gears of War, MSG4, you can say those look "awesome" but Wii stuff doesn't look awesome. I will give you "good" for some games like Zelda and Metroid but nothing is awesome when the Wii is considered a next gen console. Nintendo is selling gameplay and wonders of the Weemote though, not stunning graphics. If they end up taking a huge bite out of the gaming market share it will be because of gameplay, not looks. Which is not a bad thing, it is not all about looks, but you can't say anything graphicical wise on the Wii is "awesome"

I'm not going against you, just going to say that on top of the 500-600 dollar cost for the system the games will most likely top the 60 dollar high-end game cost. I think it will be around 70 or 80 dollars for a game. This is the reason why im going to get a Wii first. The system is awesome and it will give me more time to play games WHILE saving up for a Ps3 rather than not playing games and saving up for a Ps3.

well considering that everything you have seen was beta video from beta versions which where shown at e3 the grphics will look a lot better from the final product
don't worry
most of the demos are just that demos meaning they have bugs meaning the graphics are not finished and i would have to say im quite satisfied on purchasing a wii and telling sony to go ^%$^%$^ themselfs if they think there going to get 600.00 for a console they are on crack

Well,This system is a ways off.The games look good now, but they will look better and better once developer's learn the system more.One must remember they just got there dvd kit's what 6 months ago?
The real reason everyone thinks 360 and ps3 titles look better is because they were more like real humans and not cartoons.Plus they were shown in hd while the wii was in 420p.However I think there will be "human like" games on the wii for sure so watch out!!!!
