I never have any problems burning dvd images with Alcohol but lately whenever I burn a psx or ps2 CD backup, Alcohol dies on me right at the end. It actually gets to 100% on the burning, but it never ejects the disc and eventually I get the "Program Not Responding" error at the top of the window. What's worse, when I try to end the program it never goes away, even if I try to kill the process through the Task Manager. So I end up having to reboot after ever cd backup I make. The backups themselves seem to work fine on my ps2, but I was just wondering if anybody else has ever run into this problem when burning cd's with Alcohol 120%? Guess now I need to copy one of my audio cd's and try to burn it to see if it's just the games or if Alcohol doens't like burning cd's with my burner. :(
You could try installing Alcohol 120% again and see what that does. I know alcohol has a few issues here and there, like how it crash people's computers... if you are just using it to burn images you could try to use ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/) instead
Well ImgBurn works with no problems, so I guess I'll have to leave Alcohol after nearly 2 years of (until recently) unparalleled service. :( Kinda bittersweet ya know. ;)
