I read some of the replies to other threads but I am pretty sure my question was not answered, sorry if I am indeed repeating something.

I would like to plug my computer into a mac that has not been set up for manual manage of songs from ipod. Is this someting that is set up in the ipod or the computer?

I quess the question is if you set up your ipod to manual manage once, does it reamain that way no matter what computer you plug your ipod into?

any help would be greatly apreciated as I am getting teribly tired of the current songs on my ipod.

thanks.

First of all the manual manage is determined in the computer. There is an option called iPod Settings. Your iPod needs to be plugged in to do this. You cant use a Mac and PC at the same time. You have to reformat your iPod so it will sync with the computer you choose. So you can set whether you want manual manage or not.
