Ok folks, we don't want this thread to end up like the last do we? We don't want any flaming, we want this to be a valued resource for those PAL DNA$ IDs we need. So let's keep it clean.

There has been an issue over who owns the IDs. No-one but Sony or the game creators if the games aren't hosted on Sony's servers. So here is an up-to-date list of IDs I've just taken from the previous thread.

*Toca 3*

To get online with Toca 3 PAL, burn an unpatched version of it first, then a patched version.

Put patched game in PS2, load. When you get to login details, swap to the unpatched copy. When you're ready to log in, hit x but as soon as the dhcp check comes up, pop out the unpatched version and put back in the patched copy.

You're there.

Thanks to Moros for discovering this.

Patching games with DNAS IDs
And for those who don't know to patch these - Simply type the IDs into a program such as :

Windip - http://www.sksapps.com/online/WinDIPv1.7.zip

And replace the X's with any number/letter ranging from A-F and 0-9.

Games cannot go online from a harddrive regardless if the game is patched or not!

Hate to rain on your parade, but someone already made a new PAL disc ID thread, which was being moderated by that member & Nephilim. They also had the sense to remove all the non-working IDs, that you've still included.

Also, Socom 2 & 3 backups both work online with PAL patched versions.

I also recognise a fair few of those IDs (even down to typos/formatting) from backupscene, where IDs are self-generated & tested.

This is exactly what Nephilim wanted to avoid; mis-information & non-credit.

Sorry there, I haven't seen any new threads been made. Maybe you'd be kind enough to link to it?

As for the mis-credit, as I said, these DNAS IDs are from the previous thread. You are not the only one who can generate DNAS IDs from SLES files. I also don't understand how anyone but Sony can "own" DNAS IDs, but whatever.

It was only on the 2nd page, you didnt look very far.
And IDs that are self generated can be owned as work by someone else, much in the same way that cheat codes for AR MAX can be owned by Datel or codes for Codebreaker can be owned by Pelican. Although they only point to game code within a game made by, for example, Sony, the companies can still copyright them, even though its Sony that own the game code itself within its game.

Sorry for the confusion guys. I had two different threads going, tossed a coin and this is the one we'll go with.

If there are any non functional codes then let either me or the person who posted it know so it can be changed, the same goes for codes that need credit given to whomever generated them.

For everyone's benefit let's work together in a civil manner to keep this thread accurate.

don't fu*k it up man.

it should be jjc's thread anyway, he was first on board.

WinDIP works fine with the PAL & NTSC versions of Urban Chaos, perhaps you got hold of the non-online BETA version?

I've never had a problem with WinDIP anyway, and I probably own every online game that's ever been released. Like I said previously though, it works fine for Urban Chaos, so you most likely have the BETA.
And, WinImage isn't a DNA$ patcher, its a disc image reader, much the same as Apache or IsoBuster.

Try some of the torrent sites. MRN released it. But tbh, you'd be better off with the NTSC version by Start2, cos hardly anyone is online on the PAL version, and there's loads on the NTSC one.

Like I said, search some of the torrent sites. Like mininova.

And you can still play NTSC games on a PAL PS2. I do.

Posted this in the wrong thread:

Anyone help me here?

I have got the Original MotoGP4 DIsc and have made an ISO via DVD Decrypter and open up WinDIP, open ISO, verify it, and then I get the following message:

'IOPRP300.IMG;1' is being scanned... No match found.
ERROR: The Image File is not DN*S enabled or uses an unsupported version!

Any idea's?
