I/O error while moving files onto ipod

i tried to look for info, but couldnt find anything
i enabled disk use, on my ipod photo , and i tried to move a 1gb movie file onto it, so i can just store it in my ipod's harddrive.
while transfering, it said that the file could not be moved because of an I/O error. I ran diagnostics on my ipod, everything seems to be fine :/ PLEASE HELP!
