I just bought a used Ipod Video 30gb and I am having a lot of trouble converting movies for it.

I have tried pretty much every single converter out there and none of them are working for me.

I am trying to convert a DivX file into MP4. When I did that, the movie would randomly pixelate and the audio was out of sync a little bit.

I then converted that same file to a DVD with Divx2DVD and when I again tryed to convery that DVD to mp4 it once again pixelated at random parts.

I just tryed to encode a short little movie with something called a-one ipod video converter and the picture was fine, but the audio was way out of sync. (it was a straight DivX-to-mp4 convert.) I then tryed the same thing with the imTOO converter and the audio was again out of sync. Same thing with Videora. What can I do?

I tried the cucusoft demo software but it gets an error report when I try to add my DivX file. maybe it was the movie i was trying to encode

can anyone help me?

edit: i just tried to convert an mpg file to mp4 and it worked fine. does converting DivX files not work??
