iPod reading RAR files space wrongly, or some sort of File System difference.

I've been trying to copy a 8gb RAR file (About 15gb unpacked, full of ISOs) to my 30gb iPod w/About 12gb left, but I constantly get any error saying that the "Source in the Destination Drive is full".

Is ths some sort of difference in the hard drive stopping me from copying this file?
